50 Ways To Leave Your Blogger

I made one post at AOL today, the one about Assange. They initially posted it, but later it was scrubbed. No foul language, just wanting to know who the 40 politicians are that hid their wealth in the Cayman Islands. It’s a rightie site if I ever saw one, not like Malkin but definitely right wing.

That will be a good window into what HP will turn into. They’ve only removed the lock downs because they are alarmed by the sudden drop in comment quantity. There may be millions that go there, but they can’t replace us easily. I made a little over 42,000 comments and I wasn’t the only one with that many. Much of their millions only drop by occasionally; they’ve lost most of the hard core.

I’m not going to respond to trolls anymore, most of them are HP plants anyway. They’re gonna have to earn those clicks from now on. It’s easy to insult someone obliquely. I was driving Tara Teapot crazy by doing that; ignoring her direct responses but wrote two comments accusing her of being a paid HP stooge.

Thanks. It’s been way too long.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:38 pm

LOL. Ok, got it.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:34 pm

Refresh my memory, I’m assuming you’re K7. Am I correct?

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:31 pm

cat, I don’t mind that she made money. What I do mind is that she portrayed herself as a liberal/progressive.

Remember what I’ve always said, “once an R, always an R”? Yet, even knowing that, I find it disgusting.

Even PerfectSense felt that way. We’re not the only ones that were manipulated.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:29 pm

You ARE K7, right?

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:26 pm

I missed you, GW. Good to see one of my favorite people.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:23 pm

Oh, geez. You had me fooled. LOL.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:22 pm

Great to see you, mon Cher.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:21 pm

Good to be back. It’s been too long. I almost forgot the damned password to log in. lol

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:21 pm

Good to be back; it’s been way too long. I’m still going to harass them over there, though. I’ve been giving it to them pretty good and I’m not done yet. Got one comment scrubbed. Wait, you know that already. LOL

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:19 pm

On some emails I sent to some friends, I almost used mawded instead of moderated. LOL. Force of habit.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:18 pm

I responded to your query as to why would someone go to a site they didn’t believe in, or something like that. I don’t know if you caught it. It’s simple, they’re hired provocateurs by HP

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:14 pm

You’re right, Cher. The mojo is gone. Several of the regs have made the same comment, too.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 8, 2011 @ 5:13 pm

Wow, so this is where all the cool people went. Those bozos have the provocateurs out in force, but they’re not very good, easy to spot. Their click count is way down, but hey, it ain’t Arianna’s problem, it’s on AOL now. Suckers…..

I haven’t seen some of you in some time, so please accept my greetz. Hope all is well.

Corporington Post

Hume and I had our differences, and fights, but we got past it and let bygones be bygones, like adults should do. And in the end, we were friends again. I miss the guy.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 5:50 pm

LOL. In a manner of speaking, yes.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 5:47 pm

If you’re Penner, did you see all of us complaining when you got banned? I don’t speak for everyone, but I don’t mind a good give and take with conservatives as long as it doesn’t get combative. We never found you to be that way so we ralled for your cause over there. And, lefties have intense differences, too, among ourselves.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 5:45 pm

You have to use the _underscore. I showed people how to do that and BadBadKitty posted the entire URL. It was too funny.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 5:42 pm

Yes I did. Fat chance they’ll ever get a penny off of me.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 5:39 pm

Finding out she was married to a bi must have been devastating.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 5:38 pm

BadBadKitty just posted a link, and it went through. I like her spunk; that’s really taking a chance with their Nazi moderators.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 4:54 pm

Arizona Annie. But bastalready, Hoopers X and I are informing them where you are.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 4:52 pm

Thanks K. It was too long. It won’t happen again. I have both sites up and recruiting; there are a lot of disappointed people over there who don’t know where to go, so….we’re tellin’ ’em. LOL It might get me banned but who cares? I’ll pull a Brownie and harass them with proxy servers and play that multiple ID game. (not here, though)

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 4:51 pm

Good evening, how are you? You are still over there, right? Help us spread the word about this site. I’m multi-tasking as I write this.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 4:47 pm

Have you seen the AOL sites? They lock down everything, you can’t even make an innocuous post. AdLib correctly pointed out that they now have AOL shareholders to appease. HP’s “independence” is going to be long gone.

Everything AOL touches eventually goes to shit.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 4:45 pm

More people are coming !! We’re doing some serious recruiting on the Main. I don’t think they like it. LOL.

They’re asking about Abbyrose. We told them where everyone is.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 4:43 pm

But, you know, there’s always a workaround. heh, heh. Even though I was absent from here, many times I sent people here.

“Check out the planet” “Planet _POV dot com” are two examples. This place became well known, to the point where we just called it the planet and people knew. I suppose that’s a compliment to all you guys who work so hard to keep this place going. There are people who lurk at this site, but don’t comment; I’ve read that many times on HP.

I think this lifting of the facade will be good for this site, as well as others. We’re getting the word out there, and my remaining time at HP will be a time for promoting this site.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 3:21 pm

You know I feel the same way. Almost everyone here, and the ones who run this site I met at HP, so, I it wasn’t all bad.

» Posted By KarateKid On February 9, 2011 @ 3:17 pm

You nailed it, AdLib. And, I would not be surprised if she was a conservative Republican all along, cynically posing as a progressive as she plastered herself all over the cable world.

We’ve all been duped, left and right alike.

Now she’s backtracking, saying the AOL would not be a political blog, and that her vision for HP was to be a full service Internet newspaper, not a political blog per se.

She’s so full of it. I got rid of my tv and cable service so at least I won’t have to hear that Zsa Zsa Gabor voice any longer.
