Good morning Khirad. I honestly don’t remember a time where there wasn’t any fighting in Sri Lanka, do you?

Good morning everyone, hope you are well.

A tragedy within a tragedy

Fabienne Cherisma and her family survived the January 12th quake in Haiti, she bought and then sold things for a small profit to provide extra food for her family. She was working the day she was shot twice in the head by police chasing a mob of looters. Fabienne was 15 years old.

I understand bito.

I hadn’t gone to sleep, had been trying since 11:30, no dice. Yes I was worried about Mr. Fluffy thingy. πŸ™

I thought that you were MIA yesterday and missed you. πŸ™

» Posted By Kalima On January 26, 2010 @ 6:55 pm

I got about 3 hours sleep, think it was close to 3:30 am when I finally dropped off. Feel like a zombie this morning. How are you bito?

» Posted By Kalima On January 26, 2010 @ 5:24 pm

Sorry I missed you javaz. πŸ˜†

Yes, I so needed another mouth to feed, I hope he arrives sans fleas. Last year was really bad and my cats don’t even go out, so I must have brought them in.

Good night and sleep well, see you in your morning.

» Posted By Kalima On January 26, 2010 @ 4:55 pm

Well I have to go again, my cats want me to sleep so that they can steal all the empty spaces around me and use me as a hot water bottle.

Good night from Tokyo, have a good day.

Take care and be safe.

Restaurants and hotels are the biggest offenders over here and our growing Tokyo crow problems stem from the lazy way they dispose of their trash.

I try to not waste anything in my fridge but still there are secret hiding places in fridges and freezers where you might find something that turns out to be years old or the odd squashed eggplant hiding at the back of the veggie drawer. We call that,”The one that got away.”

Good morning javaz, yes, I often have to reflect on how lucky many of us are compared to so many millions around the world.

While looking at the pictures, I started thinking about Spain and their various food festivals when I saw their “”flour battle.” They also have their annual “tomato battle” and the “wine throwing battle” and thought what an awful waste when there are so many people starving in the world.

Makes me wonder if their mothers ever told them not play with their food, seem like they didn’t.

Good morning bito. I had a breaking news email about an hour ago saying that a rescue team had recovered 21 bodies and there was no sign of survivors. Awful tragedy again.

Here’s link from the Guardian.

Yes, wts’s drawing is excellent and compliments AdLib’s words perfectly.

Good morning everyone!

I was just browsing the online newspapers and found this gem of a clip from a comedy film about terrorists. It looks to be quite hoot and leave it to the Brits to come up with comic relief about a group of bumbling bomb makers.
Enjoy!

I had to come back to my Mac, the screen was too small and I noticed that I has told you to have a good — blank. Now I will go to sleep. πŸ™‚

I’m writing this on IPod as I’m off to sleep.

Have a good day and see you later.

Goodnight.

Good morning bito, I think you are right. I believe that he did my cleaning yesterday and maybe delivered our newspapers this morning.
For all we know he could be dead and they use this as propaganda for recruiting. Must be tough getting members these days, I mean who wakes up one morning and decides that because they didn’t get that last job, they are going to be a terrorist?

Good morning to you all and happy Sunday.

BREAKING NEWS.

” Osama bin Laden claims responsibility for Christmas Day plane bomb plot in new tape purportedly from him.”

Gosh, what an ego problem. He’s like an aging rock star who never wants to retire and still wants one more shot on the stage.

Have a great Saturday and will see you again on my Sunday.

I used to spend a lot of time, now if I really don’t have the energy for make-up, I put on a cold mask instead. πŸ™‚

I have one on each eyebrow, they stick up like antennas and are as tough as horse hair.

Sometimes hubby comes to sit next to me and before I know it, he’s plucked the little buggers out, it really hurts!
