I have a friend born and raised in Hawaii. Japanese mother and Danish father, she hated and still hates to wear shoes. She was always more relaxed than my other friends and took whatever life threw at her in her stride. She also loved the sun and couldn’t wait to go back home after each visit to Japan, married a French guy and was miserable during her winters in Paris. I must tell you that it runs for 35 minutes and 45 seconds but I feel it’s worth every minute of it. It might explain his history with wanting to cross the “aisle” and try to get the other side involved. For example the offer for a loan of $100 million from the IMF was outrageous and after much world wide mumbling it has been changed to a grant and then again after complaints the IMF working with donors to delete all of Haiti’s debt. I should think that this was already a given after the country’s almost total destruction of their infrastructure.
