A few disillusioned Labour supporters living in the country in small rural towns who have never voted conservative in their entire lives. A lot of waffling, a handful of far reaching promises with nothing to back them up with. You know how it goes at election time, they promise you the earth but few deliver the goods. Some results. The things I’ve heard about the Saddleback Church haven’t been good. Some people I know from the blogging world have told horror stories about how a parent, relative of friend suddenly drastically changed after joining, not for the better I should add. It sounded just like a cult to me and quite a few of the members became teabaggers I heard. Yes I remember hearing about his book “The Purpose Driven Life.” Personally I’m not into self help books or someone telling me what I should do to lead a good life and be happy, I’ve learned that from someone much higher up the ladder than he is, including my grandparents and later my parents. I’m glad I’m not lost. Yes I’ve been watching the unrest in Thailand.
