Our trips to France were to visit friends and do some shopping, especially in the antique markets in Paris. We never had time to go anywhere because the next stops were Germany and England to visit family. We were lucky, our friend has given us quite a few paintings and drawings, even doing of me as a cat, which still hangs proudly in our hallway. He is a huge fan of Henri Mattisse.
