Knowing that her cancer has returned, the doctors were waiting to see if she was strong enough for surgery. Guess what? She was and a successful operation took place two weeks ago. Now it will be months of painful rehabilitation for her, but she insists she will get better because she can no longer stand the bland hospital food. There have been many protests against it over here, especially from the Japanese farmers. Everything here is ridiculously expensive, then with consumption tax on everything including food products even more so. The farmers want to keep it that way. Other Asian countries are for it, and if Anerica had not moved on it, they were going to negotiate with Europe instead. Quite a few years ago there was a domestic rice shortage and Japan had to import from other countries.
