Very cool stuff!!

hah!

Or all of the above plus since he is retiring he could really care less. But I like simple so I’ll go with simply crazy.
I wasn’t buyin the excuse either. Their batshit crazy backwards logic really grates on my common sense mentality.
I am just watching KO right now…Love Anthony Wiener!

They won’t vote for it but it can be claimed it’s a bipartisan bill.
Sounds stupid but that’s what I think they’re thinking.

» Posted By Hopeington On March 2, 2010 @ 6:32 pm

I hope they round these guys up SOON.

Absolutely agree with you about Matthews. I quit him a while back. He had Pat Buchanan on almost everyday and I couldn’t stomach it.
It seems no one does their homework anymore.
From what I understand Bunning was holding up the bill because the pay as you go bill had just passed and this wasn’t paying as it went, so to speak.
However, emergencies weren’t covered in that bill, so this was a pointless argument, plus that bill doesn’t go into effect until 2011.
Chris really screwed up this one. A lot of these folks are no better than Fox, using their misinformation to slant things in their opinionated direction.

Tavis Smiley and Van Jones

» Posted By Hopeington On March 2, 2010 @ 4:59 pm

Outting Van Jones was one of my bigger disappointments about the WH. We lost a really good man for the job. They should have fought for him. I’m hoping he will be prominent in helping shape our future in green jobs here in CA.
ACORN was another big disappointment for me. I just read something about it today in Media Matters.
http://mediamatters.org/columns/201003020001
I’d never seen Congress act so fast on such bogus info.
They made a big mistake and think they should be called out for it.
I don’t watch Tavis much but I will go see if I can find that link. I’s really like to hear what Mr Jones has to say.
We already know these fools are out there. We need a clear direction to get a jump on them while they’re still busy listening to themselves fart.

Time Out for O/T – Vol 4

Hmmm think I’ll head out too. It’s great to hit the streets when everyone is watching a game.
And no rain today, might as well get out and enjoy.

I’ve been out for a while due to no internet connection. Seems like I’ve missed a lot!!
Thought I’d show up with this satisfying link of some protesters at UCSB last week giving Karl Rove some grief.
Certainly not a protest that the media was covering!!!

Time Out for OT – Vol 3

Sue and Jan, just wanted to say that the pic is of Robert Nesta Marley, better known simply as Bob Marley.

Well here’s some good news. The Mo’Fo’ Never should have put himself up for nomination in the first place.

Bito, the link says page not found

» Posted By Hopeington On February 8, 2010 @ 11:46 am

Well I’ve been here all day and now everyone is gone, I guess it’s time to say Good Night Ya all!!
It’s been fun!!

» Posted By Hopeington On February 7, 2010 @ 9:23 pm

Saw that earlier Patsy. I also listened to her deliver her lines. It was soooo obvious she had memorized the answers, there was no natural speak or natural pauses one would make when she answered. I wondered how long it took her to memorize them and if her followers were astute enough to catch on. I’m glad it was “documented”. Even though these folks deny everything at least I know the truth is out there.

» Posted By Hopeington On February 7, 2010 @ 4:43 pm

I hope not Bito, good luck and good night. Thanks for being there, glad I didn’t have to watch it “alone”!!

Canned answers…President Puppet Palin

» Posted By Hopeington On February 6, 2010 @ 6:59 pm

Here she goes again!! How trite.
And keep their god that I have to fear..out of my life.

» Posted By Hopeington On February 6, 2010 @ 6:51 pm

She wants everything changed but NO ideas…she’s going off about nothing right now! Absolutely NOTHING.

» Posted By Hopeington On February 6, 2010 @ 6:36 pm

My kid just stated cursing at her too.
He’s just been “introduced to AH and Palin. He saw through them both right away…thank heavens!
Unfortunately she makes me sick, but I’m going to suffer through this.
How can she possibly say a harsh word against Joe!

» Posted By Hopeington On February 6, 2010 @ 6:33 pm

Hey Bito..I can hardly listen…I find myself yelling at the bitch. I didn’t even know how much I dislike the likes of Palin.

» Posted By Hopeington On February 6, 2010 @ 6:25 pm

Gotta throw my 2 cents in on this, just watched it and like Sherlock always says, I don’t believe in coincidence. It stands to reason that someone just wanted to try and do the same type of thing after reading yours. It’s almost a given, considering the timing.
Besides that, they blew it because yours, AdLib, was far supeior, without a doubt.
Just goes to show ya that your ideas are relevant and desirable, I’ll bet who ever wrote it wished they’d thought of it first!

As much as I like Jon, I’m not sure I could stand to watch Billo.
I’ll have to wait for some highlights. I am curious as to what Billo’s listeners are going to hear from Jon. He is fairly knowledgeable and can carry a serious conversation quite handily.

Mad Men Reruns?
http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/mad-men/289066
The show I got hooked on was Six Feet Under.
My friend downloaded the first 2 seasons, I don’t have cable so I rely on the internet. I like it cuz you don’t have to wait a week to see the next episode.

Congrats Sue! I ended my relationship on the 30th of last month. I don’t miss it at all. As a matter of fact, when I went over there the other day, I actually felt a strange relief that I wasn’t “expected” or didn’t “have to” comment.
It felt good to be so detached from it all….then I got the heck outta there before I started to get pissed.
I had gone in just to check on something, did you ever notice that no matter how long AH leaves one of her talking point memos up on the sidebar, she rarely gets more than a few hundred comments. I’m not so sure that many people care at all what she says.
And, by the way, you were one of the first people I fanned over there.
Glad I can still read your great comments and input.
It’s PuffHo’s loss and the Planet’s gain for sure!

I happened to watch Ailes and AH the other day, my 24 year old son saw it and said
Who is that? She is saying nothing and then making everyone else have to talk about it. All she’s saying is..Check me out, look what I am saying.
He then caught this Comment of hers about GB today, in it she’s makes some remark in French and he said I bet she really liked saying that. And you could tell she did!!
I’m glad he could so quickly see her for what she is, I must have done something right. Right?
I’d like to think the youth are smart, but he also relayed a story today about these kids talking against Obama at the skate park.
He stepped in and told them some truths and, the poor baby, was totally shocked and dismayed that they wouldn’t believe a word he said.
They just make it up as they go along and then they just go along with it. AH definitely fits into that mind set, I think my son felt disappointed and betrayed in some way that this negative mindset had captured his peers
and had reached further and into places that he’d never imagined.
