They sent him a bunch of ridiculous bills that they knew had no chance of being signed. The worst bill was one that would have made cyanide leach mining legal … even though the voters of Montana passed a ballot measure keeping it illegal. He will probably veto another 20 or so bills before he is done. The Republicans don’t have the votes to overturn these vetoes in the House.
