Hey bit! You have a good point. But when the thread is especially a long one spanning a couple of days, I would be surprised if anybody actually reads all the comments…and in reverse order at that. I will usually read some of the most recent that will give me the general gist of the comments. We are such a prolific bunch of writers here that I find I don’t have time to read every single one before I post a comment….my bad! 🙂

Hey Jan! Not a dumb question at all. I have the same one. Today I edited my profile to include a little personal information and my favorite quotation. A while later, another member posted that he liked my quotation. I went back to try to find my profile and was unable to find anything outside of “Dashboard” where you go to edit. I wonder where he saw it. Like you, I’ve tried clicking on everything.

Hi Adlib, Nellie, and all!

I have a suggestion that might facilitate posting new comments under the articles.

Would it be possible to provide a link to the “leave a reply” box at the TOP of the thread? At this point, in order to post a reply to the article (as opposed to replying to another comment) one must scroll to the bottom of the thread. Sometimes, our threads are lengthy, especially when they are up for several days or there is exceptional activity. This is a small point, but it’s one I would like to see if possible.

It would also be nice to have a “return to the top” link thrown in also.

Thanks so much for all you are doing! I’m still blown away by this site! 🙂

BTW, that’s one of my two beloved shih tzus, Princess! She’s a little tomboy and I can’t keep a hairbow in her hair from more than 5 minutes. She gets them out and eats them! 😮

I haven’t been “cute” for 30 years, and doubt very seriously that I ever will be again! LOL Everybody can just get over it! The best part is that I am old enough now that I can say whatever I want to…and the rest of the family can get a grip!

Hey guys, I have been popping in and out today as I cooked. It’s thankfully almost all done and the kids should be here anytime now. I am late responding to some of your kind comments, but please know how much I appreciate your caring and good wishes. It has meant the world to me today!

I can’t wait for Sherri to get better and get out of the hospital! (I’m trying to remain optimistic!) I am going to tell her about each and every one of you and the prayers you all have sent. She will be amazed to hear that well wishes were coming from so many places across the globe.

I must log off and finish up in the kitchen, light the candles, and keep my doggies from eating all the Christmas bows on the presents! I just wanted to wish everyone here the warmest and best of holidays! You all comprise a very special group of some of the best people in the world…and I feel so fortunate to be among you!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! And if you’re gonna’ eat at my house, you had better get a “move on”! And save room for pumpkin pie! 🙂

You are so kind! I don’t know if it was E. Coli or not. But she has been so terribly ill for so long that any little thing that you and I could shake off will put her in the hospital. I honestly don’t know what’s kept her alive all these years. She is 62 and I wouldn’t have guessed she’d live past 40. But she has been well taken care of by family. They are running THREE different high-powered antibiotics on her right now. Keep your fingers crossed for us! 🙂

I am overjoyed right now. She is still not all that great, but this is a definite improvement. I told my niece, Sherri’s daughter, about all the wonderful well wishes from you all. She was amazed! To think that we have people praying for her from all over the planet! Isn’t technology simply wonderful?

I remember when my grandson was little, we used to watch and listen for Santa. One Christmas Eve, we were out on the deck keeping watch and a small plane flew over. I thought the child was going to have a cardiac arrest! It was so cute!

Hi Sue! I haven’t had a chance to say hello to you! Thanks for your kind thoughts! She has really been sick and we didn’t think she would make it through. She was found unconscious on the floor at her condo two days ago. They told us it was kidney failure and that has a terrible prognosis. I am somewhat encouraged by the news.

I live in western NC…complete with the Golden Corral and Walmart too! 🙂 It’s a shame that they have driven the “mom and pop shops” out of business.
GC and Wally-World share the same parking lot here. So it’s a ritual to go shop and go eat for lots of folks!

Anyway, thanks again for your prayers. I have really been distraught! And it’s great to see you here! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We gotta’ get some more of our buddies from HP over here…but just the good ones! Please, please…NO FLOSSY!
