I’m reminded of Nixon’s remarks that can be heard on the (somewhat) recently released tapes. He said, “There are times when an abortion is necessary. I know that. When you have a black and a white.” I know that many conservatives’ opinions on social issues have not progressed much past Nixon’s era. I hope I haven’t offended anyone by bringing this up.
