Being a chef in a busy restaurant is hard work coordinating everything…then you have the ones who want this, this and this, but leave this off and no sauce! Worked last summer only a couple of nights, getting too old for it, my feet and legs where killing me by the end of each shift…I don’t know how I did it all those years. I usually leave 20% for good service, large tables with close to 10 people, which is usually the case with my family, I leave 25% to 30% depending on the service. Large tables are very difficult to coordinate service…and sorry Abby, the kitchen usually screws something up 😆 never the wait staff! I see Bill’s use of this video as his way of proving his point when “others” try to preach to him about “a loving God”. Just as some of us did when we were posting over at HP, ie., “Top 400 Income Earners” to prove they don’t pay the same taxes as us. 2.) I did not take the video posted as Bill being an ardent atheist trying to win anyone over to his side. 3.) Yes, this video is a bit rough, it tends to use some of more harsher rhetoric of the Christian religion to sway people over to atheism. 4.) I take Bill’s post as him getting something off his chest, an arbitrary post, kinda like, “I really hate it when…”, fill in the blank, we all make these posts from time to time. 5.) I did not see any “Disrespect” from Bill in any of his replies to any member here. And to answer Buddy question, “Does this post cross the line?” No, not in my opinion, I didn’t particularly like the video and turned it off mid way through and left it at that. At the moment, 61 percent of the subsidies that the U.S. provides for agriculture go to just ten percent of recipients. Though some restrictions on rich farmers receiving subsidies were placed into the 2008 farm bill, they were mostly ineffective. And entrenched lawmakers on the agriculture committee help to keep it that way: The 15 congressional districts receiving the most in payments accounted for about a quarter of all farm aid…Representatives from nine of those districts serve on the House Agriculture Committee, including the panel’s top Democrat and Republican. At the moment, 90 percent of agriculture subsidies go toward the production of just five crops — corn, wheat, rice, soy and cotton. “Most of that 90 percent went to the large farming corporations,” said Annie Shattuck of the Institute for Food & Development Policy. “Much of those commodities were not used for food, but for animal feed and industrial applications.
