Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

KT,

I know. It *is* amazing. I’m quite surprised that they’re even buying her book, as I would guess that 98% can’t even read. The only books they probably do have are most likely on tape, and THOSE would be a collection of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Veggie-Tales (for their theological understanding.)

Foreign policy?
blank stare…
Domestic policy?
blank stare…
Economic policy?
blank stare…

Ask any of them about the sanctity of life and they’ll talk about the rights of an unborn fetus.

Ask any of them about the sanctity of life for people in other countries with different religious beliefs and they’ll advise nuking them.

Idiots… All of them.

Idiots.

“The administration now recommends that that the statutory minimum penalty for economic espionage be raised from 15 to 20 years. ”

…and what do they propose to do about the banksters on Wall Street who hijacked our economy?

Answer: Nothing.

What a bunch of morons. Clueless about everything.

One of the last quotes made, “this is not rocket science.”
…No. It’s not, but if it was, we know that Baggers in office would vote to defund every aspect of NASA and *any* sciences, while at the same time growing the Pentagon’s budget for cruise missiles.
Never in my life have I witnessed such vast crowds if stupidity; but then I haven’t been to church in over a decade either.

Proud to be,
Auntie Christ

To any nail-biting conservatives concerned with how Americans live and what they do in the privacy of their own lives: Do YOU know where YOUR representatives are?

I spoke with an old friend today. He’s a conservative Christian in conflict. He despises Charles Darwin and the very idea of evolution, yet he believes in social and economic Darwinism. To him, if the old and the afflicted are to survive, they should pull themselves up by their own bootstraps – despite the fact that Jesus was a socialist and would wholly (holy?) disagree.

No wonder he sometimes wanders away from home to escape into the bottle – and he’s no genie.

Tsk tsk…

Don’t forget the conservatives… they’re setting their calendars back to the 19th century.

CL, check the site’s search function. Plug in any date range and then have it do a query. You’ll see that the results are copious by any standards – as they’re counting everything from natural disasters to biological and chemical anomalies.

As it says on the cover of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy:

Don’t Panic.

I wouldn’t doubt that she pays a bunch of conservative lickspittles to create a bunch of socks to sing her praise; also too, I wonder how many accounts she herself has to do the same.

No doubt, every time she sees her reflection (if she has one) she says, “Mirror mirror on the wall, dah’link, who’s the sheistiest one of all?”

{mirror breaks}

After JD Rockerefeller’s hired thugs murdered men, women and children in the Ludlow massacre of April 1910, Rockefeller testified before congress that, given the chance to do it over, he would have done nothing different to prevent what had happened. He was fine with the fact that innocent unarmed people were massacred.

It was important that he get his profits at ANY cost.

…why does that sound familiar?

HP? You *may* want to get some ointment after visiting that site. 😉

…and pick up a can of TrollBgone… oh, wait… Aryana likes trolls… never mind.

I’m glad to read that you’re safe, Kalima; be careful. I think I can safely say for everyone on the Planet that our thoughts are with you.

…what with all the water that was displaced I had wondered if Rush Limbaugh might have jumped off a cruise ship.

Again, take care.

Republican version of Woody Guthrie’s ‘This land is your land’

This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land
This land is my land

This land is mine for only me.

Because the banksters and Wall Street are the true Mafia. They’ll just never admit it – Omertà and all that.

Even tho’ the number in attendance might have been less than 2,000, that’s still fantastic, Cher – with the exception of the predictable absence of the MSM, which would have been at a Tea Party if only one schizophrenic Bagger showed up – giving them the excuse to say that conservatives showed up by the thousands… (call them Legion?)

Since, in the mind of Republicans, Progressives don’t count, and by the very same attitude of the corporate media, it can truthfully be translated that: Conservatives don’t count anyone who differs from their single-minded ideology.

Of course we’ve known that all along.

It’s no wonder that they believe that Adam and Eve arrayed themselves with FIG leaves:

Fear
Ignorance
Greed

That’s the un-holy trinity of the Republican party which they’ve clothed themselves in for decade upon decade upon decade.

…sorry… my mind just blanked… ask Adlib, he can explain it.

You compliment HP by giving it too much credit; HP is naught more than fouled toilet water polluted by the bowels of some of the dimmest lackeys in history.

i do believe that i’m becoming of the opinion that most republicans are demon possessed spawn from the lowest depths of hell.

…the only problem with that theory is that it disregards their very own mantra of personal responsibility – what if one can just say, “the devil made me do it.”

no… they are responsible for their own actions, and since that’s the case, they’re just inhuman psychopaths… so much for holy water, i had better start packing a sledge hammer.

As long as they’re not willing to compromise on section 44 (out of 369 sections,) thinking “hell, what’s ONE concession?,” then you’re right.
Personally, I hope they don’t compromise on anything.

FUCK the Kochs and their minions! They’re more dangerous to democracy than any outside threat could ever be.

Please believe me when I write that THIS is a *must read*:

Those Kochs would have it that they can be monarchs, and the Tea Baggers, in their stupidity, are only too willing to suck up to them to make it so.

I’ve pretty much done the same (no games though.) I know what you mean by mental health break… HP all but suffocated my creative spirit – what with the never ending parade of trolls that was always allowed to flourish. Tea-Baggers making the news, disagreeing with friends (who now see that I was correct YEARS ago about Republicans and their real agenda)… Got to the point where I just grew tired of arguing and didn’t give a shit.

…But I do…

I just have to convince whatever part of me that remains unconvinced that I should start researching, writing and creating images again.

We’ll see how that goes.
