GOP Economics – How to Become Taller by Digging Holes

I, personally, hope to see heads roll.

Exploring Morality, Chapter 3

We have two kinds of morality side by side: one which we preach but do not practice, and the other which we practice but seldom preach.

How interesting that the ONE state with a minimum wage below the federal level happens to be Kansas, home to Koch Industries:

Based in Wichita, Kan., Koch Industries, Inc. is one of the largest private companies in America according to Forbes magazine. It owns a diverse group of companies involved in refining and chemicals; process and pollution control equipment and technologies; minerals; fertilizers; polymers and fibers; commodity trading and services; forest and consumer products; and ranching. Koch companies have a presence in nearly 60 countries and employ about 70,000 people. Since 2003, Koch companies have completed more than $32 billion in acquisitions and investments, and nearly $11 billion in capital expenditures.

I Like Cookies

I’m not sure if that sounds obscene or embarrassing…

…Possibly both?

“With the Muslim invasion of Spain, the start of the Crusades, and the emerging spice trade, the cookie recipes of Persia quickly spread through Europe.”

“To truly become a baker you had to pass through a guild. A process usually taking 3 to 4 years. It allowed them to keep a tight control on quality and kind of goods.”

!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

The Keebler Elves are Muslim Communists and the Cookie Monster is brainwashing America’s children!

Notice in the graphic how he’s so comfortable as he’s cradled in the crescent letter of C?

Duck! !!! no.. from now on we must protest the use of the letter c!

Duk! Hide! Kall any Konservative kompatriot and kolleagues who’ve not yet been Kastrated and tell them to dump their kash for gold!

They should stok up on food too (if they wish to remain faithful to Bek.)

MOST importantly: they should permanently hide away in order to ponder if the Koup in Egypt may be kounter to their kause, and also assertain for themselves whether Krist will hold them akkountable for the evil they’ve kontinually konfirmed and bakked through konservative kauses.

The Failed History of Conservatism in America

In answer to your question:
“What have Conservatives EVER done that benefited America?”

The answer is quite simple:

They’ve made it easier for those of us who are NOT Conservative to identify psychopathy.

Now if only we could get them to seek help and take their meds.

Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

The Koch’s have, for far too long, been able to keep themselves and their plundering of America out of the news. How many of us knew of the infestation before they, like the kochroaches they are, were finally exposed to the light?
They remind me of a line in a movie (which I can’t remember) that states that the owners of a bunch of media outlets are the most powerful people in America, and the reason that no one hears of them is that they pay to keep their names and misdeeds out of the public’s knowledge.

Hating people like the Koch’s could serve us all as a new religion… Something to be passionate about as they attempt to dismantle our democracy.

Worth watching: FDR warned what Republicans are about:

» Posted By AuntieChrist On April 30, 2011 @ 4:43 pm

So I was speaking with my son over dinner last night, and he mentioned the disturbing trend of Republican power-grabs in the states, while in the rest of the world dictators are being rallied against and overthrown.
He smiled wryly and said, “hmmm… tho’ maybe it’s not bad to strive to be a dictator, since I *DO* live in the states.”

I told him to be careful what he wished for because if he took that route, he would be well advised that many despots throughout history were “aided” out of office by those closest to them, and knowing that ancient Roman history is one of his favorite studies I ended our conversation with a smile and that one missing piece, lest he miss out on my meaning, “Et tu, Brute?”

Suddenly, wide eyed and sitting straight up, “I think democracy is *much* better,” he replied.

Sen. Kyl Erases His False Statement On Planned Parenthood From Congressional Record

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2011/04/sen-kyl-erases-his-false-statement-on-planned-parenthood-from-congressional-record.php?ref=fpblg

That’s right: in the age of digital life and the internet, Jon Kyl still tries the age old tactic of pulling a Big Brother, only to end up again as the discombobulated village idiot with fecal matter in his grinning mouth.

^ that last part intended to be a factual statement?

…you decide.

I know… It’s batshit crazy.

If I had it my way, these greedy and corrupt CEO’s, thug politicians, and paid propagandists of the right MSM would be crucified from coast to coast – we could have *MANY* Appian Ways branching from every state, all leading through Wall Street wending it’s way all through K street, and ending in DC.

…sigh…

…sad truth is, I’ve actually seen posts where trolls admonish such behavior and do indeed call those who’ve bought about economic and social ruin, “our betters” – and advise that we be thankful and NOT question them.

Damn Dominionists.

» Posted By AuntieChrist On April 19, 2011 @ 1:00 pm

but… but… those CEOs deserve that money for their forward thinking which allows for the down-sizing of inefficient plants, which leads to greater profit margins for investors who, through their tireless efforts for more tax cuts allows trickle down economics to work.
We shouldn’t question our betters.

No. You’re just another person who’s as mad as hell at all the petulant shits who whine because their Happy Meal didn’t make their chronic cynicism go away.

We need more people to “go medieval” on the asses of the corporate media, the tea party, and the short-sighted idiots of fence sitting nihilists.

Indeed, the writer is right.

Matt Taibbi has the number on the cookie-cutter Kochsuckers of the GOP (one would believe that it’s 666):

Paul Ryan, the Republican Party’s latest entrant in the seemingly endless series of young, prickish, over-coiffed, anal-retentive deficit Robespierres they’ve sent to the political center stage in the last decade or so, has come out with his new budget plan. All of these smug little jerks look alike to me – from Ralph Reed to Eric Cantor to Jeb Hensarling to Rand Paul and now to Ryan, they all look like overgrown kids who got nipple-twisted in the halls in high school, worked as Applebee’s shift managers in college, and are now taking revenge on the world as grownups by defunding hospice care and student loans and Sesame Street. They all look like they sleep with their ties on, and keep their feet in dress socks when doing their bi-monthly duty with their wives.

…no surprise here:

Everyone knows that liberals and conservatives butt heads when it comes to world views, but scientists have now shown that their brains are actually built differently.

Liberals have more gray matter in a part of the brain associated with understanding complexity, while the conservative brain is bigger in the section related to processing fear, said the study on Thursday in Current Biology.
