We have huge bay windows overlooking lovely oak trees. It’s like waking up in a tree house. We went from 1450 sq ft to 2450. I feel like I won a prize! We are exactly 2.1 miles from our old home, so kept the same stores, bank, cleaners, etc -plus still live by friends. I just no longer have to do maintenance and yard work! We sat on the front porch today, watching a great lightening show. Unfortunately, it didn’t rain and now it is hotter than ever, which says a lot in S. Texas. But I’m dreaming of vacation in fall in NE, so staying “cool”. Congrats, Sue.
