Hello, this is my first post on this site or any site. I am not quite sure what I am doing, so this might look very amateurish. My name is Grabamop because as an Obamatron I believe we are the people we have been waiting for. So now and in the future, I hope you will follow me as I grab a mob and start cleaning up my part of the world, and I invite you to follow and join me. Also I am Obama20082012 on HP. But for who knows for how much longer. I am sure I will go ballistic there soon and get banned.

Hey there! It’s good to know who is who, when names are different. I’m pondering what to do my first one on too – though I know it probably won’t be domestic policy. I’m actually intimidated, this being sort of the cream of HP, most are much smarter than I. That being said, I thought you did fine. It’s funny, I’m almost getting a false sense of security on HP; I’ve lost my cool from time to time – which I hate to admit – because it means the troll has won to some extent, but I’ve only been flagged once to my knowledge, that is it, and I’ve seen people banned seemingly for who knows what reason?!

I am shocked that I am still there. I completely lose it in certain types of threads……those dealing with racism, the Holocaust, etc..
I have a tendency to harangue the mods when I get fed up, and I do not know why I have not yet been banned.
I do think that those such as Hume, Agent86, those with the highest fan counts, are the most likely to be on HP’s list.
That’s what I have noticed that the big fan counts are gone. I don’t know if Hume is gone yet, but I don’t see him as much. Just leave it to Aryanna not to want anyone liking anyone else more than her. Both issues you mentioned make me crazy. I am white and non-Jewish, but I have many friends and family of different colors, faiths, and sexualities. Glad to see you here as well!
I saw Hume over there on Sunday but just briefly…and his posts were being wiped.
He’s been so loyal to them, it’s really outrageous.
Hey Grabamop et al…More of the same at Huffnpuff this morning. I am feeling a bit paranoid that the whole site is actually a Trojan Horse by Arianna the phony progressive. Am I being paranoid? She gives a good interview, sounds like a progressive….but her history is not really that long ago.
Anybody else notice LOTM who suddenly became a lib and is still pretending to be a lib, even sympathizing with others who talk about loved ones dying due to lack of health care? That is what started getting me paranoid about Arianna.

I don’t know how that picture got posted, I picked another one. It was my first post, and I barely know what I am doing. I have never been to SF, but I do want to go there someday. If that is a real street sign I just might have to steal it. I love Obama.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it seems pretty clear to me that Arianna is just an opportunist who saw a big opening for a hard core liberal woman in the media.
So she became one overnight and has successfully ridden that horse to where she is today.
You do have to give that much to her, she was right about the opportunity, even if she has no earnest belief in the philosophy.
I get the feeling that they don’t want “leaders” to rise out of the blogging ranks, perhaps for fear that they will lead bloggers to revolt or exodus.
They seem far more quick to pull the trigger on banning the most popular bloggers than I have ever seen before.
KevenSeven, AtomicSplash, BlueStateMan/Agent86, these folks have been around for a while and have many fans.
If it isn’t to keep the blogging ranks passive, disorganized and clueless about how the site has changed, I don’t have an explanation as to why they are so anxious to ban longtime, faithful members.

Welcome! There was a day when people could criticize a president on certain issues but still support them. I wish he would push harder for things like a more robust public option but I don’t have to use hyperbole and demonstrative and misleading headlines to express myself. People like Aryanna are part of the problem because they make politics about personal attacks and not about policies. But then again she learned all that as a Republican.
Excellent point about Aryanna (I love the way you spell it) I remember when she was a Repub. I could not believe it when she switched back, then I read it’s not the first time she flip flopped. I don’t like everything Obama does, and I wish he was more forceful at times. But he seems to pull things off, so I just have to see how it plays out.
