CL – My theory remains in place, enough Americans who voted for Trump but aren’t MAGAs are going to have to suffer, get laid off, not be able to afford groceries, get evicted, etc. so that they finally turn on Trump. Trump having approval still in the 40s means a huge slice of non-MAGAs who voted for him are not following any of the news or just don’t care. This leads into my description of a huge segment of the American public as virtual amoebas that don’t educate themselves about what’s going on in the country and only react to stimulus. Suffering is the only thing that I believe will turn them against him and once Trump’s ratings are in the 30s and sliding, Repub pols who want to be re-elected may finally start to distance themselves from Trump.
