Yeah the major point is they are grandstanding which is all they need to do show they’ve took a stand, but got out voted. I know a lot of the Repubs in congress are dumb as a sack of rocks, but there are some there who have an understanding of how the economy works and what would happen if they don’t raise the debt ceiling.
