I’m pretty good. We set our friend, window of the first man we housed, off to her new life back home. She will be with good family, but she has a LONG bus ride because she is on the southern route from Sacramento to IA to avoid the weather. We are heartbroken he has died and she is widowed. We will miss her terribly.

When I have the energy, I will say how much social services effed her over. She was SUPPOSED to have Amtrak – they pulled every promise made to her. So we got what we could for her – Amtrak was full, the short trip was full – but maybe this is actually safer for her. I’ll know when she gets there.

Add thank you for the wishes. Yes I will see my family on Saturday and Sunday. And all three of my grandchildren will be here. One of them lives here with her with my two Great grandsons. My middle granddaughter flew in from Chicago where she is a pediatric gastroenterologist, and my youngest granddaughter drove in from Georgia yesterday. So we’ll all be together I’m so happy.

Murph – Yes, I’ve had some issues with Pelosi when she was feuding against Progressive policies and refusing to hold GW Bush as responsible for his crimes but I am fascinated by her natural sense of how to negotiate legislation and politicians. She is a once in a lifetime genius at politics and we have been so lucky to have had her as Speaker at such an important time. I will greatly miss her too.
