Weekend Music Thread – Waiting on a Friend

Despite the terrible pandemic, an attempted coup, a suffering economy and a demented man doing his best to destroy the country, a change is gonna come in just a few days. A very big change, like going from darkness to light, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and their colleagues will steer the U.S. away from the cliff’s edge and back onto the path of sanity. The country can hardly wait so here we are, waiting on a friend who will be here in days.

So, to celebrate the inauguration that will (finally!) remove all power from a seditious madman and vest it in principled and compassionate people, the theme for this weekend’s music thread is celebrating the new era of President Biden and Vice President Harris.
