Our Election Night Live Chat begins tonight at 7:00pm EST. It will be an historic night, hope to see you here!
AdLib 6 hours ago
Hey PPO!
AdLib 6 hours ago
hey Ad. Timing’s out! When do we start?
pinkpantheroz

We’re starting now!
AdLib 6 hours ago
Hey glenn!
AdLib 6 hours ago
glenn!
pinkpantheroz

Sorry, can’t see the top of the chat. Evenin’ gents. Wanted to wait until I could see a few results. I have CNN on TV, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution on my Kindle, so I’m keeping track. Not looking good for Abrams, so far, but only 3% of precincts in so far.
glenn

Barbara Comstock defeated, according to CNN. One down!
glenn

Comstock was a bellweather! Des are going strong!
AdLib 6 hours ago
ooops, glenn. Here’s hoping that changes.
pinkpantheroz

It’s a good start!
glenn

PPO–No, it’s a good thing. Comstock is an R.
glenn

PPO–or are you talking about Abrams?
glenn

can someone over there ask why so many places have ‘inop’ machines and insufficient paper ballots? Did they not know there were elections due?
pinkpantheroz

Abrams, Ad.
pinkpantheroz

PPO–Because repubs are in charge of most voting machines in those places, and they’ll do ANY thing to win.
glenn

PPO – It’s designed malfunctions, purposeful to limit voting because Repubs know they just can’t win in a fair election where everyone votes.
AdLib 6 hours ago
Speaking of Abrams, I think it’s going to take a long time to count ALL of the votes tonight, especially the “metro” precincts.
glenn

Someone should still be called out on it. So blatant
pinkpantheroz

glenn – Early returns are not meaningful, you never know if they’re mostly coming from Repub districts or Dem districts. That’s the key to assessing results. Which districts are in and which are outstanding.
AdLib 6 hours ago
Ad–that’s why I think it’s going to take a long time to count the ballots from the Dem districts here in GA.
glenn

PPO – The only ones to start calling out this violation of constitutional rights is the DoJ…which is led by the racist and vote suppressing Jeff Sessions. Otherwise, there are the courts but they are less reliable now with all the Trump appointees.
AdLib 6 hours ago
glenn – I agree, the GA results will drag out. And no matter who’s ahead, if they’re at less than 50%, it’s not over, there’s a runoff!
AdLib 6 hours ago
PPO–don’t know if they’ll follow up on it or not, but top Dems here in GA are calling for an investigation of Kemp (Abrams’ opponent, who is also in charge of elections) are calling for an investigation into Kemp if Abrams wins. Hell, there should be an investigation into Kemp even if he wins. He’s been a sleazebag throughout this whole process.
glenn

Brat is down a point so far but it’s early. That would be great, to kick him out of Congress!
AdLib 6 hours ago
Ad–yes, that’s what I fear most–a runoff, cause Kemp will pull out even more voter suppression tactics then.
glenn

Worrisome, but inevitable, I suppose
pinkpantheroz

glenn – But who would handle the investigation of Kemp?
AdLib 6 hours ago
BRB covfefe break
pinkpantheroz

glenn – No doubt that it would be best for Abrams to get over 50% and win now but if there is a runoff, there would be time for legal action to restrain Kemp from overseeing the election and using his dirty tricks.
AdLib 6 hours ago
Ad–I agree. Even if Kemp wins, he should be prosecuted for malfeasance. Don’t know if you heard or not, but he accused Dems of hacking, when it was his office that screwed it up, and was notified by Dems of the glitch in the state-wide system. He should be at least investigated for that by the DOJ.
glenn

Ad–hopefully, it would be the DOJ, as you say. But I have my doubts, especially if Kemp wins.
glenn

Yes, I heard all about that. It’s purposeful on Kemp’s part to lie and deceive about that. The courts need to get involved!
AdLib 6 hours ago
Ad–If there is a runoff, every Dem in office in GA should be DEMANDING that Kemp resign as SOS. Won’t hold my breath, but that’s what should be happening.
glenn

Ad–Kemp is a sleazeball!
glenn

They should, glenn. I would hope that the groundswell would become overwhelming to force Kemp out. His win, no matter what, would be illegitimate to half of GA anyway.
AdLib 6 hours ago
Only 1% of GA in so don’t worry about numbers for Abrams yet.
AdLib 5 hours ago
More polls closing in just a few minutes!
AdLib 5 hours ago
He will certainly be illegitimate to me, Ad. I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that a candidate is overseeing his own election. It’s such an outrage, and I just don’t know why he was allowed to get away with it.
glenn

What’s the difference between Putin’s fraud elections and Kemp’s? Less killing of opponents is about it.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Comstock defeated, can’t hear it enough!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Ad–exactly in the comparison of putin and kemp. Can you imagine if a Dem tried to do this?
glenn

Gillum outperforming Hillary in FL so far.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Ad–just heard “too close to call” in governor’s race in FL, so it’s tight!
glenn

Nelson up by 5 over Rick Scott, Gillum up by 5 over De Santis so far, with around 18% in.
AdLib 5 hours ago
glenn – But Gillum and Nelson are still up by 3%-4%, not enough to call the race yet.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Ad–yeah, it’s gonna be a long night in both FL and GA, I think.
glenn

What’s the deal in CA? Any tight races there?
glenn

Ad–I know it’s early yet in CA, but any results yet?
glenn

Will be but again, no idea which districts are in. If big blue districts are not in yet, Gillum and Nelson could pull away.
AdLib 5 hours ago
I hope Gillum and Nelson bury the repubs! Especially Nelson, who is running against Scott.
glenn

CA polls don’t close for 3 hours! And yes, a number of Repub House seats very close against Dem takeovers.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Isn’t Nunes from CA? I can’t keep up, but did he resign?
glenn

Gov Wolf wins in PA.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Yay! Dems need to get as many governorships as they can!
glenn

Issa resigned and his seat will likely go to a Dem but Nunes is in a heavily Repub district and unllikely to lose but his race against Janz is in single digits.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Shalala winning!
pinkpantheroz

Wow! I thought Shalala was in trouble.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Ad–good luck to Janz.
glenn

well, Pelosi is congratting her Fla-27?
pinkpantheroz

Yep, wish he coud beat Nunes but very hard to do so. Yet, if Dems take over, I would hope he would be investigated for his collusion with Trump and thrown out.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Ok guys, gonna keep the TV on, but I’ve gotta go get something to eat, so will be back soon.
glenn

gillum up by 4K – 20K to go!
pinkpantheroz

Okay, see you shortly!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Nice!!!
AdLib 5 hours ago
KY06 McGrth (D) up 6 points!
pinkpantheroz

Wow, that would be great if Dems won that seat!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Warren OK. Beat Diehl
pinkpantheroz

FL races neck and neck, wish I knew whether more blue or red districts were still uncounted!
AdLib 5 hours ago
shalala confirmed winner
pinkpantheroz

Sweet!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Another gain!
AdLib 5 hours ago
VA 10 Flipped. Wexton
pinkpantheroz

CNN saying more Dem votes outstanding in FL.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Brown in Ohio looking good
pinkpantheroz

So far 13 net seats Dems are ahead in House race, that would be over half way there!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Brown was declared winner by MSNBC.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Denton County Tx. Major power outage affecting polling booths! Hmmmmm
pinkpantheroz

Beto ahead but still very early.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Pritzker wins IL governor! A pickup from Repubs!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Tx booths that opened late have been ordered to stay open another hour
pinkpantheroz

I saw that! The rigging of the election is only a Repub game and it’s disgusting!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Cordray ahead in OH governor race.
AdLib 5 hours ago
MD stays red
pinkpantheroz

Governor that is
pinkpantheroz

That was kind of expected.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Same with MA.
AdLib 5 hours ago
ND First americans voting in huge numbers with new IDs! Ha ha
pinkpantheroz

That’s great news!
AdLib 5 hours ago
That cow Kim Davis, anti gay clerk, lost!
pinkpantheroz

Heh! And the guy running against her was refused a license by her! How fitting!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Menendez NJ up!
pinkpantheroz

Muslim lady wins!
pinkpantheroz

Half the vote in Broward, heavily Dem, still out. Dems can win Gov and Senate in FL!
AdLib 5 hours ago
How is dade?
pinkpantheroz

At least for now, Beto ahead 53.1 to Cruz at 46.2 with 46% of the vote in. Could be some big Repub districts still out but for now, this is pretty cool!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Dade is like 75% in so many Dem votes there too.
AdLib 5 hours ago
A bit of a lull in the action right now!
AdLib 5 hours ago
GO Beto!
pinkpantheroz

Houston and El Paso, big Dem districts, aren’t even in yet!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Right now, Dems have won 2 seats and lead in 21 seats, that’s about all they need! And that doesn’t include any states where the polls haven’t closed yet. Including CA where Dems should pick up at least 2-3.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Choppy seas, rather than a tsunami, eh?
pinkpantheroz

Yep, don’t really understand it. The voter turnout is huge, young voters and minority voters surged and Trump has a limited base. Hate to say it but something smells a little fishy.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Red switch senate IN – B raun to win
pinkpantheroz

Wow, that’s fantastic!
AdLib 5 hours ago
Oh…Braun is Repub, right. That sucks.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Hard for Dems to win The Senate if Donnelly loses to Braun.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Beto holding a 3% lead with 51% in.
AdLib 5 hours ago
Can’t work out if Amy McGrath is winnin or losing
pinkpantheroz

8 minutes until many more state results come in!
AdLib 5 hours ago
I’m back. It’s not looking as good as I wanted it to be. Please, please, don’t let this be a repeat of the presidential elections! HELP!
glenn

A bit disappointed about FL…which always disappoints. DeSantis is an open racist and nearly half of Floridians support him???
AdLib 4 hours ago
Can I just say…I hate FL?
AdLib 4 hours ago
Manchin wins.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–I know. WTH is wrong with those old people? Damn!
glenn

Polls closing. Casey in PA, Klobuchar in MN, Gillibrand in NY and Heinrich in NM all win their Senate seats.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–Much as I hate Manchin’s vote for Kavanaugh; we need all the Dems we can get.
glenn

Ad–Are those all Dems?
glenn

Yep, I’m no purist, I’ll take a Manchin if it helps Dems win The Senate in 2020.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Yep, all Dems.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–okay good.
glenn

Ewww–blackburn wins! YUK!
glenn

I think Dems win The House but don’t know that they win FL or GA.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Yeah, I agree. I wanted them to win soooo badly.
glenn

brb coffee!
pinkpantheroz

I guess it’s not surprising that Blackburn wins in the reddest state but I was hoping Dems could win it.
AdLib 4 hours ago
According to my AJC results, only 17% of precincts in, so there’s still hope. Although Kemp has almost twice the percentage of votes than Abrams does. 63%-37%
glenn

At least 1.5 million people will be given back voting rights in FL, the amendment is passing.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Hopefully, that turns out to be a good thing.
glenn

Not giving up on Abrams, glenn, but she has such an uphill battle against Kemp’s cheating.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–yeah, blackburn is in a red state; I just wanted to see Dems overcome all of that redness. Hope the Dem party in that state keeps up the pressure, at least. Sure wish her race would have been closer.
glenn

Ad–Not giving up on Abrams, either. I think Kemp’s office is going to take its time counting absentee and provisional ballots.
glenn

Ad–and I think many of Abrams’ supporters probably had to cast provisional ballots.
glenn

These Repubs like Blackburn are such poisonous human beings but they reflect so many of their voters. Racism works, it is working in FL, GA, etc.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–I just don’t understand it. I’m white and old, and I just can’t understand their thinking. Hate is no way to live.
glenn

glenn – Same here, it’s like trying to understand aliens.
AdLib 4 hours ago
I would venture to say that very few of those racists ever had a job taken by a black, or an immigrant (legal or otherwise), or even interacted with either one. I just don’t get it! How can you hate someone you don’t even know?
glenn

49.9 to 49.4 Beto and Cruz, with Beto having the 49.9. If Beto squeaks out this win, it might make up for FL and GA. Or, at least it will go a long way toward making me feel a tad better.
glenn

I think it’s about children who are raised with a sense of white entitlement by racist parents and when they see they may be losing that, they have fear and hatred towards POC.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Ad–that’s about as good an explanation as any.
glenn

I think you’re right about many Abrams voters having to cast provisional ballots which aren’t being counted yet.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Sorry, folks, got to head out. Please God it works out for us! Take care
pinkpantheroz

Nite PPO. Take care
glenn

Agree, if Beto can pull it out, that would be a far more shocking win than a racist and wealthy polluter winning in FL.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Did you see the video of cruz and beto with Triumph the insult comic dog? That was priceless!
glenn

Also, I soooo want to cruz smarm his way through a concession speech!
glenn

sorry, soooo want to see
glenn

Dead even! 49.7 apiece in TX
glenn

Yep, posted that video of Triumph on the post today. Hilarious slam on Cruz!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Another PA Rep win!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Yeah, just saw that! Three pick-ups so far. Only 20 more to go!
glenn

Dems up 3 seats with 21 or more still favored for them.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Without counting many states yet.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Hopefully, those are Dem states.
glenn

Many of them, yes, including CA.
AdLib 4 hours ago
According to Rachel, only 100 votes separate Beto and Cruz right now. WOW!
glenn

It’s way too close in TX for it to be acceptable to Repubs.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Yeah, the cheating should start soon, especially with Abbott retaining the governorship.
glenn

Beto now up 51% to 49%!
AdLib 4 hours ago
That was a joke, hopefully!
glenn

The cheating is baked into the election system in TX, was it fairer, I think Beto would be much farther ahead.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Keep going Beto! According to MSNBC, in Beto’s district, El Paso, polls aren’t closed yet, so he actually could bring it over the top.
glenn

Dems win another seat in CO.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Yeah, just heard that about CO. I’m still not breathing yet.
glenn

Dems are on track to win The House. And if Beto wins? There will be a lot for Dems to be happy about but Repubs will gloat if Dems don’t win in FL and GA. Damn racists!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Anywhere repubs are in charge of who gets to vote and who counts the votes, cheating is baked in.
glenn

Dems leading right now in a net 26 seats, three more than needed to flip the House.
AdLib 4 hours ago
I agree. The racists will be out gloating out in force tomorrow, beginning with the racist in chief.
glenn

And Trump will be gloating about all Repub victories, ignoring Dem victories.
AdLib 4 hours ago
That’s good news. We need to have a cushion.
glenn

Yeah, especially the Senate ones. He’ll never acknowledge Dems taking back the House, if that happens.
glenn

The way it looks now, Dems will win back the House winning the suburbs but the Repubs stay strong in states with big rural areas.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Actually, I hope his head starts to explode if Dems take the House, and finishes exploding when the investigations begin in Jan.
glenn

In the end, the most important victory the country needs is for Dems to take over The House.
AdLib 4 hours ago
But I hate losing to racists.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Looks like there might be a runoff in the FL senate race. Almost all votes in and it’s really close.
glenn

Not a runoff but a recount in FL. GA has runoffs, FL doesn’t.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Yup. I can’t believe how many racists there are in the U
glenn

in the US
glenn

More than I used to think there were. But Dems are winning and leading in many Repub districts right now, winning control of Congress is the big one we need to win.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Oh, geez, another recount. With a republican legislature, and a republican SOS, I’m sure it will be fair.
glenn

As fair as a wolf counting chickens.
AdLib 4 hours ago
LOL!
glenn

MSNBC says it’s now a 70% chance Dems take the House.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Just saw that, too. Let’s hope it holds!
glenn

I think it will. Most other states are performing as expected for the most part…except racist FL!!!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Just checked GA results. Abrams is at 44% to Kemp’s 55%. She’s tightening it up! YAY!
glenn

Beto ahead by 5,000 votes!!! Repubs may win in FL but Beto winning in TX is more shattering.
AdLib 4 hours ago
NICE!!!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Go Beto!
glenn

Kobach losing so far so KS Gov looks very possible!
AdLib 4 hours ago
For Dems that is!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Oh good, Kobach losing puts a smile on my face!
glenn

Evers ahead just barely over Walker in WI with 20% in by 1.5%.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Now up to an 80% chance of Dem takeover of the House on MSNBC!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Walker is another smarmy face I’d like to see lose!
glenn

Starting to go from “cautiously” optimistic to optimistic! LOL!
glenn

Trump can boast about any Repub wins tonight but the only win that directly hurts him is Dems in power in The House.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Yeah, and if Beto pulls out a win, Dems can gloat about how the lying bully couldn’t save cruz.
glenn

The country and our democracy will be protected by this one result, can’t dwell on any other losses. If the tables were turned and Dems won everything but The House, we’d be in hell.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Yes, if Beto can destroy Cruz AND show that Dems can win in TX??? Repubs will be far more freaked out.
AdLib 4 hours ago
It will make me breathe a lot easier if Dems pull out the win in the House. Of course, you do know that it will make the lying bully even more of a liar and a bully?
glenn

Dems leading in 33 seats, Repubs in 7 so a net of 26 seats they lead in with 5 already won. And western states including CA still not counted! We will do this!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Repubs just picked up a new district in PA
glenn

Yes, that was expected but Dems netted more wins in PA, Remember, they had new districts drawn.
AdLib 4 hours ago
I know Dems are still ahead, but you know me; I’m a nervous nellie!
glenn

5 Dem House wins in PA vs. 1 Repub win.
AdLib 4 hours ago
If I forget to say this, thanks for helping me through this, Ad. I’m not sure I could be watching this by myself!
glenn

Same to you! This is nailbiting, great to be watching it with you. Don’t know where everyone else is! Maybe too nervous to chat about it?
AdLib 4 hours ago
Just checked MO on my KIndle. Claire seems to be doing well; she’s ahead by almost 8 points.
glenn

I think Murph said he’d be helping out at Claire’s headquarters; don’t know about anyone else.
glenn

Wow, Claire was counted out weeks ago. Her win would be a big victory.
AdLib 4 hours ago
Brat is losing!!!
AdLib 4 hours ago
Awww, gee, I’m so sorry Brat is losing. Is it by a large margin?
glenn

Pickup in CO for House! Pickup in MI too! Down to just 17 seat pickup now!
AdLib 3 hours ago
With a net 23 seats Dems are leading in right now! Not including the West!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Results are coming in quickly now!
glenn

4 minutes until more states report!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Just checked GA again. In a state where there are NO paper ballots; it’s all done on machines; still only 38% of precincts reporting. What a crock! Abrams 43% Kemp 56%
glenn

YAY! Kobach goes down!
glenn

Cruz leading now…by only 43k votes! 50 to 49!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Two more pickups for Dem house seats! only 15 left to pickup!!!
AdLib 3 hours ago
WOO-HOO! Kobach’s loss is huge and a big Trump loss!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Damn! Do you know how many of the precincts reported in TX?
glenn

YUK Romney is going to the Senate.
glenn

Only 14% of vote in TX.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Romney the slimeball. Hope Rosen and Tester can win!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Oh, that’s good news. Beto could still pull it off!
glenn

Another win in PA and one in NY Woo-hoo!
glenn

BRB Ad
glenn

Yeah baby!
AdLib 3 hours ago
ok!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Now 95% chance of Dems taking House!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Tester ahead in Montana!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Ouch. Cruz wins in TX.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Yeah, saw that 95% chance! Then saw that Heitkemp lost, and now just saw that cruz won! Damn!
glenn

So now that Beto has probably lost, the good that Dems can take out of it is that he taught Dems how to run a campaign in TX. It’s the ground game, baby! Hopefully, Dems will learn that lesson all over the US! Ground game!
glenn

Geez, I’m so smart. Rachel is saying the same thing I just did. The Dems need to take note!
glenn

Hard to beat all the racists in The South, so many great people there too including you and my wife’s family. The lesson I’ve learned from 2016 and 2018, it’s still going to be a while until the racists are outnumbered in the South. Maybe less than 10 years but I’m not counting on it for 2020.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Yes! You’re both brilliant!
AdLib 3 hours ago
And if Dems can spend resources on improving elections and voting in TX in the meantime, since TX rates 50th in percentage of eligible voters voting, the day that Dems win statewide again could be sooner than later. It doesn’t help to have voting machines that change votes from Dems to Repubs.
AdLib 3 hours ago
I think you’re partially correct, Ad. The South is racist, for sure, but they’re not the only area of the country that is. There are some “flyover” states that are just as racist, they just don’t get the publicity the South does, IMO.
glenn

Yeah, Dems better learn some damn lessons from TX! I think we have to have some dynamic leadership at the national level, like we had with Dean.
glenn

Yes, there are big racist populations even in MA and my state, CA. The difference is that they don’t represent as big of a percentage of voters here. However, in the midwest, they can be a bigger percentage.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Back to 44% for Abrams and 55% for Kemp with 52% of precincts reporting.
glenn

You have to remember, too, that the older population of Fl, who vote R, are not native Floridians. They are mostly people from the northeastern states and midwest like Michigan and Ohio.
glenn

What I’m observing though in this election is that the blue wave is happening but in certain areas in the country, not as much in Southern states (though in some districts in Southern states). Since Trump’s projected theme for the midterms was racism, it makes me think that the percentage of voters receptive to that is higher in states that aren’t demonstrating a blue wave.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Don’t think I explained that too well, but what I meant is that those northerners brought their prejudices with them.
glenn

Yeah, I’m not defending the South; it may take another generation or so, because the young people in the South have interacted with and lived with minorities on a much more equal footing than their parents do/did. There is hope; there’s always hope.
glenn

Yep, that same insecurity and programming that leads people to be racist isn’t unique to any section of the country.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Okay, I’m breathing now.
glenn

Pete Sessions just lost his seat!!!
AdLib 3 hours ago
I don’t care what Beto said, he’s now free to run for President!
AdLib 3 hours ago
And another one bites the dust!
glenn

13 net gain of House seats! Only 10 left and CA alone could have 7!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Oh, I so hope he does! I really don’t want to see Biden, Sanders or Clinton run again. We need young blood!
glenn

MSNBC declares Dems win The House!!!
AdLib 3 hours ago
YES!!!!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Yup. Saw that, that’s why I’m breathing now!
glenn

Hey Kes!
glenn

Hey Kes! Just in time for the best news of the night!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Trump will be stopped!!!
AdLib 3 hours ago
And investigated!!!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Hey kids! Just staggered in the door from working the polls. Been up since 4:20 a.m. so bear with my babble!

Just glad you’re here, Kes! Thanks for doing such important work! Now, the payoff! Dems take the House!
AdLib 3 hours ago
I turned on PBS and things are looking good! We have no news source at the polls, so I was in the dark all day long.
kesmarn

Kes–the best news is that Dems are projected to flip the House!
glenn

I’m disappointed about all the Dem losses tonight but this was the big burrito!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Adam Schiff now leads the Intelligence Committee! And Mueller can now release his report to a House that will act on it and make it public! And Trump’s tax returns will be had!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Hell is coming! For Trump!
AdLib 3 hours ago
That’s what I’m seeing, glenn!
kesmarn

I love Adam Schiff! He doesn’t take any repub shit!
glenn

And Maxine Waters will head a financial committee!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Walker is behind right now!
glenn

YEAH!
AdLib 3 hours ago
What’s happening with Stacy Abrams?
kesmarn

Whitmer wins MI Gov!
AdLib 3 hours ago
That was great news in Michigan! Flint can have hope again.
kesmarn

Yes, MI was badly damaged under a Repub gov.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Wow… Florida’s voting rights amendment is passing! Awesome.
kesmarn

Abrams 44%-Kemp 55%., with 56% reporting.
glenn

Kes – Hope that could tweak FL towards sane election results.
AdLib 3 hours ago
glenn, sorry to see that about Abrams. Kemp played SO dirty.
kesmarn

Kes–Abrams has been behind all night; I was hoping it would be closer, but I don’t know which precincts have reported yet.
glenn

AdLic that’s what the analysts are saying — FL will be voting differently now.
kesmarn

Kes–no Kemp didn’t play dirty–he out and out cheated, but no one will call him on it.
glenn

glenn, that’s disgraceful.
kesmarn

Kes – I am no longer taking FL sanity in elections as a probable but hoping this could do it.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Yes…I’m thinking there will be lots of trickle down effects from this election — for years to come.
kesmarn

Kemp has no legitimacy as Gov. He is a fraud and a cheat and a liar. Maybe Abrams will have to come back at him when he tries for re-election, by then maybe he will be so reviled she can beat him even with Repub cheating.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Kes–I know.
glenn

Colin Allred beat Pete Sessions in TX! YES!
kesmarn

Yes and Dave Brat was beaten!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Abrams is just wonderful. She deserves a bright future.
kesmarn

MSNBC is saying now that even in Abrams loses statewide, there will probably be congressional seats picked up on her coat tails. A glimmer of hope.
glenn

That’s a great consolation glenn. And Abrams is too wonderful a candidate to not come back if she loses.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Kes–I know. I love listening to her talk. She actually reminds me of Beto with her positive message. Although she had to address Kemp’s disgraceful shenanigans with voter suppression, she always did with reciting facts and figures, not insults.
glenn

Tester way ahead!
AdLib 3 hours ago
That was my perception of her too, glenn. Calm, optimistic, brilliant and SANE!
kesmarn

Hey…how about a Beto/Abrams ticket in 2020? And what about Gillum? He’s fantastic too! Dems were missing young talent and this year they’ve got an embarassment of riches for the future!
AdLib 3 hours ago
I love all three of them!
kesmarn

Abrams should run for Secretary of State. She would be great; she is so knowledgeable about voting rights and procedures. She is the founder of the New Georgia Project, which registered “forgotten” voters, more than 20,000 of them.
glenn

glenn – That would be perfect! She absolutely should and then leverage that into running for Gov again.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Ad–I’m with you on that 2020 ticket.
glenn

NANCY PELOSI IS NOW GOING TO BE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE!!!
AdLib 3 hours ago
The end of the Tea Party power in the House!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Heh! Dems have already announced that they will request Trump’s tax returns!!!
AdLib 3 hours ago
This just gets better. And so many governor’s races are going to Dems!
kesmarn

YAY! Pelosi is the most powerful woman in government! Tea party dumped!
glenn

Ari Berman says it’s Dems coming out swinging. They’ve been having to hold back for 2 years!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Alright, Ad. Now that I can breathe again, I think I’m going to call it a night. Disappointed about Beto and Abrams and probably Gillum. But we have the House! So, I’m checking out now.
glenn

Goodnight Kes, goodnight Ad. Ad, thanks for getting me through tonight. Kes, good to see you if only briefly!
glenn

If Dems have the Gov seats, as it looks like they will, in MI, WI and PA, there goes the Trump strategy for winning re-election. And redistricting those states (though PA already has fixed its districts) after the 2020 census, should help destroy the Repub advantage from gerrymandering.
AdLib 3 hours ago
Night glenn, enjoyed it!
AdLib 3 hours ago
G’night, glenn! Good to see you again. I may sign off as well — been up for many hours! Thanks for hosting, AdLib! So good to touch base again.
kesmarn

No matter how Trump may gloat about Repub wins, Dem control of the House is what saves the country!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Sleep well after a great day’s work!
AdLib 3 hours ago
Absolutely. Things are moving in the right direction!
kesmarn

Sanity is back!
