ALEC dresses up their agenda to lull the public while in the background they work to ensure legislation is geared toward the benefit of Corporations alone and while we may realize some crumbs they deign to throw at us, make no mistake they are in it to win it for themselves and their corporate masters alone.

Referencing the suffrage movement in the 1920′s and civil rights supporters in the 1960′s, top Republican leaders are nearing a vote in the House of Representatives to pass a law that would give corporations the right of other citizens, to vote in elections.

The right can “pray away the gay” because everyone knows it is a life choice not a predispostion you are born with that makes a person gay.

In his slippery slope argument against the ACA, Justice Alito simply asks us to consider all the people who’ve been bankrupted and have lost their homes having to pay for their own sudden burial and the ongoing costs of remaining dead.

That bastion of consistency and unswerving principle, Arianna (“I’m a Right Wing Republican-I’m a Progressive Democrat-I’m Neither!”) Huffington, proclaims that since the GOP has been falling down in it’s role of attacking Obama’s character and campaign, she and HP are taking up that noble cause.

A powerful thing happened at the GOP’s Missouri Caucus and it had little to do with the caucus. I met a Democratic Psychiatrist who drafted an extraordinary statement about Obama and how his remarkable qualities seem to have kept Americans afloat emotionally through the worst times in recent memory.

It is illegal to ask party affiliation in Washington, so as long as you are willing to sign a sheet that states that you consider yourself a Republican and that you won’t vote in another caucus, all voters are welcome. With Obama safely installed as the incumbent, I figured I may not get another opportunity like this for another 8 years.

Elections in the US should not be an existential conflict but when candidates are willing to do literally anything to win, the fate of the nation can indeed be at stake.
