I agree, they add nothing but irritation. I love a good give and take discussion and had several conservative friends at HP, with valid points of view. I was proved wrong more than a few times, and believe our civil conversations served us all well.

I,ve been gluten free for a month now, down wonders for my skin. Plus quinoa pasta is not bad so my Italian cooking won’t suffer so much.

well put, couldn’t agree more, this morning i was worried that I would lose even the little bit of posting fun that HP offered. I logged in there in 2007 myself, and understand exactly what you mean about the posters – learned so much from them and enjoyed the interaction with all the polite people from both sides. this site looks to be a breath of fresh air that HP was back in the day.

and OMG, I just was able to edit a typo, wow.

please do, it’s also very funny, and George C. Scott (and a great ensemble cast) really deliver. If you have netflix, they have it as instant download. would love to hear you opinion. I was a card carrying member of the counter culture when that movie came out and it was all the rage with my comrades. yes I am that old – ha ha.

such a coincidence I just left a post about “Network” lo and behold, I scroll back to the top of the page and Bam! there’s a friggin’ clip. Paddy Cheyefssky nailed it in that movie, and if you haven’t seen it , “the Hospital” (early seventies) which he also wrote foretold major components in the health care crisis to come.
