110 today in Dallas. 32 straight days of 100 plus temps. They’re talking about rolling blackouts due to energy demands and many if they get power won’t be able to afford FOOD to pay electric bills. Some COUNTRY huh? That’s why the deal the President made with those PRICKS is really starting to piss me off. Maybe I’ll feel better when the weather here starts to cool a little, sometime around January. And that brings up those CLIMATE CHANGE deniers…………

Told ya man, there are lots of long time Israelis and American Jews that are just as frustrated with their Govt as we are with ours. Many of the recent Israeli immigrants, especially from the former Soviet Union seem to be a big part of the problem. That and the F-ing Teavangelicals that lavish the Likud Party with money.

AL, I agree the baggers will go down in 2012, but this is 2011 and there’s too much at stake. Obama needs to use the bully pulpit much more effectively and communicate that fact. As far as HCR what in the hell was Kent Conrad doing leading that debate?

Just had a Green Party purist on another site tell me the 2000 election of W was not the Green Party’s fault but the fault of the ROBERT’S COURT. Didn’t have the heart to tell him Roberts was not confirmed until 2005. Those kinds of PURISTS I can do without.

KT, I had to be a little more practical then that bunch. When I came back from Viet Nam I had a wife and a child to support. I didn’t need to be TOLD by people going to college on mom and dad’s dime I should have done this or that. Too big of an element of that crowd were totally disconnected from reality and didn’t realize for the most part PROGRESS comes in small slices and methods have to match.

House Democrats are pleading with Obama to get out and LEAD on this and quite frankly after that lukewarm speech the other night I can see why. Sorry folks sometimes I have SERIOUS reservations about that guy.

Vengeful Tea Party type group coming from the left? Been there and seen that with some of the anti-war, ANTI-EVERYTHING movement in the late 60’s early 70’s but I think many of them are Tea-Partiers now.

CL they are CONSUMERS and the only God anyone in the FOR PROFIT news business celebrates is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. The other issue is the way Congressional Districts in many states, especially Texas thanks to Tom DeLay, have been gerrymandered. It creates a shadow America where the vast majority of our citizens who I believe are center left not RIGHT have been marginalized.
