AL, I know about the resettlement problems but you can’t leave persons in permanent incarceration without charge. Think about that. I also wonder if we still rendition. As far as the wars someone is going to have to tell me why anymore American lives should be lost in Iraq or Afghanistan. There are several good books that question why American troops were still being killed minutes before the Armistice in 1918. OBL is dead and the more we kick fire ant mounds the more we get stung.

Choice you and I are of the same generation with many, but not all, of the same life experiences. You and I know giving people the benefit of a doubt can cost you dearly. My only HERO is my wife who has stuck with me through thick and thin over 39 years. Obama has done well but a little skepticism is a healthy thing especially when it comes to politicians. Devil’s advocate? Possibly, but you and I my friend have been to lots of rodeos before.

I am not a purist and I’m probably in many aspects not as liberal as most of you. I’m very pragmatic and think he did a great job but I never ever subscribe to some of the cult of Obama I’ve read here tonight. If I met him I’d tell him great job sir now about that…………………….

AL, it’s not a reach especially when you’ve seen this game before and actually went to one of Uncle Sam’s parties as I did over 40 years ago. What do you bet, we still have significant forces in both Iraq and Afghanistan and Gitmo is still open in 2016? And saying it’s somebody else’s fault? Come on man.
