What Would FDR Have Done?

AL, we have In and Out here now. I hope that’s not what ya’ll call a hamburger in California. How about a pound of Chilean Sea Bass? And Oh BTW I intend on COOKING it not eating it raw.

AL, that’s a crock. PRESENTLY there’s not much between many people and a box under a bridge. Efforts need to be concentrated there. Otherwise you’re looking at Romney/Perry. A truly scary thought.

jkk, what can be more important than the rights of working people and the survival of the middle class???

» Posted By texliberal On August 10, 2011 @ 11:41 pm

AL, YOUR ON my friend. My pound of smoked brisket against what?? Don’t say sushi, I hate that stuff.

KQ, I don’t think so. Ya never know how far you can stick your neck out, until you stick your neck out. Obama seems predisposed to keeping his neck packed tightly inside his starched shirt.

KQ, a message war is only won when the message is genuine. Otherwise what’s the point? Political expediency? That’s how we got where we are.

Funk, amen and amen and amen

» Posted By texliberal On August 10, 2011 @ 11:23 pm

KQ, the Dodd Frank Act has been watered down, HCR watered down. Those two pieces of legislation would embarrass Richard Nixon.

jkk, WHAT IN THE WORLD does my problems with Obama have to do with STARVING kids in Somalia? You’re really gonna have to explain that one.

» Posted By texliberal On August 10, 2011 @ 11:15 pm

Don’t count on it AL. He’s already outsourced to Congress and they feel their oats

» Posted By texliberal On August 10, 2011 @ 11:13 pm

It’s the MSM huh? That’s what another outfit and amalgamation of pundits says constantly?

» Posted By texliberal On August 10, 2011 @ 10:30 pm

Which network is gonna tell the POTUS no Sabreen?

» Posted By texliberal On August 10, 2011 @ 10:25 pm

Sabreen, woe is us, huh? I don’t buy that my friend. From that most famous of philosophers Emeril LaGasse, time to kick it up a notch

» Posted By texliberal On August 10, 2011 @ 10:24 pm

Nice try bito but no cigar. The POTUS has all three major networks at his beckon and call. Last time I checked no one from Fox lived at 1600 Pennsylvania Av.

KT, the 60’s, never thought we’d all survive my friend. Morrison was a wild man, but loved the Doors

» Posted By texliberal On August 6, 2011 @ 7:58 pm

» Posted By texliberal On August 6, 2011 @ 7:50 pm

» Posted By texliberal On August 6, 2011 @ 11:33 pm

Yep, Tottenham England has an erie resemblance to Watts ’65. Europe is a tinder box right now. Let’s hope cool heads in all the ethnic and religious communities there prevail.

Nope , it was right on the money mt friend.

» Posted By texliberal On August 6, 2011 @ 11:15 pm

Cher, I spent most of my adult life in harms way and two of my sons followed me into public service. No big deal, it’s the life we chose. Veteran street cops will tell you they know when somethings not quite right and something bad is about to happen. I get those feelings about the political situation now. People are afraid and becoming desperate. It’s becoming that clans tribes thing I told you about. We need leaders with LOUD clear voices that point us all in the right direction. Quiet certitude just won’t work right now.

We lived in one room, we called it the living room. With dirt floors. 🙂

» Posted By texliberal On August 6, 2011 @ 10:50 pm

Funk, ya put when those volcanoes all go up you’re gonna need a place to stay

» Posted By texliberal On August 6, 2011 @ 9:36 pm

Chase ,Been hot enough for ya my friend?

» Posted By texliberal On August 6, 2011 @ 9:25 pm

My mom was an Hungarian American Catholic. My dad a hot tempered Scots Irish American hardcore Teamster. We had two pictures on the living room wall. JFK and Jimmy Hoffa and they had to be 15 feet apart.

Yep, the “left” has always been and will always be the more volatile side of the political spectrum. Remember that little get together we had in Chicago in ’68?
