Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

You’ve obviously never been to Texas. It’s not only Yankee transplants, I’m one, but the indigenous rednecks.

Ya know Khirad my disdain for House thugs is turning to pure hatred. And I’m a nice guy.

Blame it on the UK. They sent their hardcore criminal sociopaths to Australia and their hardcore religious sociopaths here.

Love that movie, it was better than John Carpenter’s remake with Kurt Russell.

I’m sure you already know, but one of his first parts was as the monster in the original The Thing movie in 1951

Great advise and tune for those big-city freeway commutes

Great letter kes. My wife has been an RN for 41 years and I am a retired big-city street cop. We are both college educated with a difference, in our curriculum many years ago we were taught SERVICE above all other considerations. Keep the faith my friend.

Ha, perfect Palinism

» Posted By texliberal On June 1, 2011 @ 9:05 pm

Whatever happened to the Age of Enlightenment?

» Posted By texliberal On June 1, 2011 @ 8:27 pm

I don’t know which I hate worse, Bachmann week or Palin week on the MSM. I guess the Weiner thing is meant as a refreshing diversion. But then I gotta look at Breitbart. Can’t win for losing.

I am an old fart, but I choose to learn. 🙂

In the part of Texas I live in, just north of Dallas, I’m awash in tea-party types. Facts like yours and bito’s post have no meaning to them. They choose to believe what they want to believe. After all we have a church on every corner. And that’s not much of an embellishment.

» Posted By texliberal On June 1, 2011 @ 7:44 pm

Yes sir, on the off chance I ever run into Breitbart I keep BOND money in my sock.

» Posted By texliberal On June 1, 2011 @ 4:43 pm

Ha, #3 made me spit out my chicken rice casserole. As for the other three No, yes and yes

» Posted By texliberal On June 1, 2011 @ 4:36 pm

You may be on to something

» Posted By texliberal On June 1, 2011 @ 4:32 pm

Yep, but I always thought I had better taste

» Posted By texliberal On June 1, 2011 @ 4:26 pm

What is the Chris Matthews obsession with Paylin all about? Does he think only baggers watch TV in the late afternoon? Or maybe his Philly good ‘ole boy shtick is wearing thin.

forgot (stingmeus alotus)

» Posted By texliberal On May 31, 2011 @ 4:22 pm

Speaking of Sister Sarah, I saw her bus headed south on I35 just north of downtown Dallas today. Think I shoulda told her Iowa was the other way?

Only if it’s an obituary. Guess I’m getting kinda COLD in my senior years. But I did enjoy Two and a Half Men.

» Posted By texliberal On May 31, 2011 @ 3:25 pm

One of my heroes the late Howard Zinn was also highly critical of the FDR approach. Wonder what he would of thought of Obama after two plus years?

» Posted By texliberal On May 31, 2011 @ 2:59 pm

What’s that old Kenny Rogers song, Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In. Doing my daily check up on PPOV and it’s SOOOOOOOOOOOO refreshing, not a PAYLIN story in sight.

» Posted By texliberal On May 31, 2011 @ 2:50 pm

Of course not. TB females are always victims

» Posted By texliberal On May 25, 2011 @ 7:14 pm

Thanx kes. A man of conscience

Ask him in he KNOWS the Book of Revelation was written by JOHN of Patmos. An hallucinogenic hermit living on an island in the Aegean in the 1st century speaking of Emperor Nero and contemporary times.

I believe the only strategic land occupied by the Israelis post ’67 is the Golan. As long as Jr Assad is in power in Syria you can’t afford to give him the heights that control the Jordan River Valley with virtual control of water for both Israel and the West Bank.

» Posted By texliberal On May 25, 2011 @ 6:30 pm

Think you’re right khirad. Remember seeing him in costume in some old DOCs about the early church

» Posted By texliberal On May 25, 2011 @ 6:20 pm

Am I mistaken or was Crossan once a Jesuit Priest or Dominican Friar?
