Donβt buy that itβs untrue. Having misspent many years married to AFTRA and SAG, I can assure you NO outlet is going to contradict a lie about ‘too much money’- it inflates everyone’s value. (moaning ‘too little’ will leave you on the side of the career road.) I don’t think Griffin and friends disliked what he said- he was simply too unpredictable, and his ratings weren’t strong enough to go out on a limb to support him. » Posted By jkkFL On July 21, 2011 @ 6:07 pm IMO- this looks like the entire GOP response to anything.. someone else’s- or their own. » Posted By jkkFL On July 21, 2011 @ 5:45 pm ..and acknowledging it! » Posted By jkkFL On July 21, 2011 @ 5:29 pm » Posted By jkkFL On July 21, 2011 @ 5:26 pm I agree! If Constellation had been funded adequately throughout the Bush years, there would have been a two-year gap between the Shuttle and the Orion craft, and large layoffs could have been avoided. Now, the gap will be at least five years. But NASA had started to redeploy Shuttle workers to Orion.” » Posted By jkkFL On July 21, 2011 @ 8:10 am “One recent analysis, according to Florida Today, with projections revised to include the cancellation of Constellation, indicates that there will be 9,000 direct space jobs lost, and 14,000 indirect jobs, which depend upon activity at KSC. This potential disaster was discussed at a five-hour meeting Feb. 25 of the Brevard County Commission. Mark Nappi, the vice president of United Space Alliance, the Boeing/Lockheed company that processes and launches the Shuttles, said that more than 4,500 of the company’s 5,500 Florida workers will lose their jobs. Nappi said that since “the market will drive where space vehicles are launched from,” Florida is “going to be [like] the Pittsburgh of the steel industry and the Detroit of the car industry.” This doesn’t even consider the ancillary benefits created by the work force on the surrounding communities.. I watched his show and compared with his show at TYT, there is absolutely no question about how restrained and in fact, uncomfortable he seemed at MSNBC.”
After just watching him on KO..
He’s no KO- and he is damn sure he is,
. Sorry Cenk.
(Although I Do Not agree that Blitzer is a journalist- he’s the classic ‘Talking Head’!)
Primary fact: You can’t find one of these people who don’t expect a fulltime standing ovation- (even if they’re just coming out of the shower.. π
My guess- he’s making a big deal of nothing..(AND do not ever believe ‘money stories’- they soften the employer slam, and the industry would bury him, if he complained it was too little..)
He wanted to be the O’Reilly of MSNBC- untouchable, rich, and fat!
(LaRouchePAC)
The remaining workers’ last day is tomorrow..

And.. speaking of cool- the ‘Imported from Detroit’ Campaign is a Master stroke’.
Kudos to Oregon-based Wieden+Kennedy Agency .
The last workers leave Friday- except the ones decommissioning Atlantis; and Mission Control will be deactivated after tomorrow’s landing.
Launch pad 39A will be disassembled this year.
There is nothing left of NASA except Charlie and his staff.
In FL we have 24/7 TV access to the NASA channel. We could follow every mission, and the feed from ISS.
Late night was especially cool, because we could watch the feed uninterrupted.
Now, we lose all our ‘Space Minds’ and experience for years- many forever. They have gone to other countries, especially India and France.
These were our Birds- we would go outside, school kids would go outside, to cheer each one as they ripped thru the atmosphere to the only place where Peace exists..
Two sonic booms would stand us up in the middle of our sleep. They’d Startle birds, cats, dogs and humans out of their skins in the daytime, as glass rattled- we would smile, and say ‘Welcome Home,’ in relief- another one was back in the nest.
We mourned when one of our Birds went down- we flocked to the coast when they restarted flight.
We cheered Sally Ride and the first night launch, we wrote letters pouring out our heart when another Bird was Needlessly lost.
We put roses at the memorial on January 28 and February 1, every year..
What will inspire and challenge kids to pursue science, math, physics and engineering?
What will take our hearts into the heavens again?
Most of the charter schools in FL were ‘F’ schools on FCAT.
Why are GOP governors and the party so gung ho on charter schools?
Scott is ripping the heart out of education money to expand charters.
I know the old story about ‘dumbing down the middle class’ but does anyone really buy this??
Just wondering what other planeteers are thinking.
I do have a black hole in my heart, though.
There will be tears in FL tomorrow.
You Do Not sleep thru a landing.
One more dubya fuck-up.
