We all have our pet peeves against them, but when you see their sins laid end-to-end, it really pissed me off.

You know- I was thinking about that last night when tex ‘popped’ in..
there seem to be a few who are here for a couple of days, and then you may not see them again- some for a while, some not at all..
I wondered then why tex was here, he seemed to just be chumming the waters to see if anyone would bite.
Wonder if HP is sending operatives over to troll?

Sometimes, I just get disorganized, so I pull out the old index cards and write my main points on the top of each card.
Then I fill in the body with what I want to say on each point.
If that doesn’t work, I try moving them around to see if it’s just a format issue.
At least I manage to keep my points, and thoughts in order.

I finally came to realize there is no point you can make that will change their minds.
My Dad used to say that if the parties ran the jackass or the elephant, literally-even the animals would win. At this point- I think he was right.
What is wearing me out is the hate- with which each defends their view. Isn’t this something ‘newer’? Perhaps it was brought about by attack ads, or just the witch hunts that are part of every election..?
The thing that Still pisses me off is, after I made a donation to Alan Grayson’s campaign, I started to get right wing propaganda. Every day, I would have some crap in my email from the GOP.
I finally gathered up all the addresses and sent them all a message to “LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!”
More than half came back as ‘unk’ but it finally stopped.

Wonder if your civilized approach, and encouragement to really express his ‘views’ left him without a point?
Some people are like guerilla warriors- they can hit and run, but when pressed- can’t articulate their talking points.
I always sensed a LOT of anger in him, but couldn’t figure out what the basis of it was.
