I saw that article earlier, and yes of course, Candy Thomas, being Joe’s wingman, does believe they are both above the law.
I know, the Grand Jury is sure taking its sweet time, but then again, getting folks to turn on Joe is not an easy thing.

Don’t get discouraged.
Heck, I post links all the time and am ignored, but it’s usually because not many people are here during the day, compared to evenings.

I don’t ever go to HP either.
I’m boycotting the site because I feel it’s right-wing.
It’s nothing personal against you or anyone else who posts links to HP, it’s just my own little rebellion against HP.

So, give me a clue what the article was about?

I can’t think of the correct term for neighbor spying on neighbor and reporting to officials . . .

Arizona Republican wants people to report people on welfare and food stamps who buy booze, cigarettes, have cell phones, have cable (except basic cable is okay), have flat screen TVs, new cars, etc.

Interesting that the comments following the article want the abuses expanded to welfare recipients who buy soda, candy, cookies, pies, chips, etc.

Well, at least it’ll give the teabaggers something to do!

I did see that about California, and wish someone would investigate our insurance going up 35% as of January 1st.
It’s extortion!
But we’re lucky to have insurance and be able to afford it so far, so can’t complain all that much.

Yeah, I read an article this morning from the New York Times that told about McCain and Hayworth.
What a joke, but it will be entertaining.
Still no Democrat to challenge either, and dr’graz is considering a run!

If only that were possible and then we could take money from lobbyists and be set for life with excellent health care!

or

CBS with James Brown, Boomer, and Shannon Sharp? (and isn’t there a 4th guy on that one?)

(did I get that right? I know James Brown used to be on FOX, did he not, and then he left for CBS?)

We prefer FOX for the NFL thing, because we like that Frank Caliendo comedian.

It looks warm there and sunny, compared to Arizona where it’s a chilly 61 degrees and overcast at 2:05 in the afternoon.

Well, damn.

But honestly, there is no way that my husband would ever NOT watch everything Super Bowl, even though he’s reading the newspaper during all the pregame hype.

They just did a very moving thing about New Orleans and Katrina, even though it was skewered to make the NFL and Saints look good.
Like giving 84 million dollars of FEMA money to rebuild the stadium was so important, while so many are still without homes.

One of my New Years resolutions was to get back into following hockey, as I was and still am a huge Red Wings fan being from Detroit.

We used to go to the minor-league hockey games here, the Roadrunners, all the time, but once the NHL brought in the Coyotes, the Roadrunners were forced to leave town.

Funny thing, is that the Roadrunners had a larger fan base than the Coyotes, even though the Coyotes did play against the Wings for the Cup a few years back.

And there it was – the deceitful anti-choice pregame ad.
Three more pregame ads and then a different anti-choice ad during the game.
I switched the channel the minute the ad came on and hope to do that for the remainder of the Super Bowl festivities.
