My husband is currently reading a biography about Richard Nixon, and honest to goodness, what we are seeing today is nothing new, even when it comes to corporations buying politicians and dirty smear tactics from the right. I truly believe that it has happened all along since the founding of our country. Not all the founding fathers agreed on things and there were a few who believed the wealthy should rule. My husband reads history more than I, but he always tells me the things he’s read and he has a better memory on recalling things from history. This morning we talked about the reasons we’re so involved in politics now and paying attention, and we decided it wasn’t all because of the Vietnam War that we followed things back then, because even back then we were only focused on a few things and not the big picture. Then again, I suppose it’s a compliment that someone is so scared of PPOV.

The phone company is sending someone out tomorrow but this could take a few days to straighten out again.
Happens at least once a year and normally takes a few weeks of off and on service before they figure it out.
Some are blaming all the problems of the country on the baby boomers and painting the generation as the worse generation that ever lived.
Do you think that’s true or a fair assessment of the boomers?
