Displaying 421 To 450 Of 4,429 Comments So, the good friend of my husband – they were hippies and lived on a commune, who visited last June, and he came out to see us with his sister, and his sister is a HUGE Glenn Beck follower. Ron lives in Oregon, and he’s a total Muslim-hating-freak, and then there’s his sister, Suzie, who is a HUGE Glenn Beck follower, and I kid you not, but Suzie takes Glenn Beck very seriously. Well, the friend – Ron – is out here again, with his daughters, who are mid-20’s to early 30’s – there’s two of them – the girls – well, they flew out here because the rains in Oregon got to them, and they are staying with the Glenn Beck loving sister. So, Ron calls this morning, because he really wants to come and visit us again and bring his girls, so that we can play guitar, and whatever. Seems they all got very drunk last night, and Ron said how there was bad behavior, because his girls took on their Glenn Beck aunt, and Ron had to get his girls a hotel room! LMFAO Can you imagine? I can actually, because I’ve met his sister and had her as a guest in our home and I’ve told you all about that. Ron said that he’s coming over tomorrow with his girls and I’m so hoping that he brings his sister, but even if his sister doesn’t come out, I am going to just love his girls, and have a great time with putting down their aunt! And that’s really wrong of me, isn’t it? Maybe, I shouldn’t – but if you ever met that woman, you’d be cheering for me, too! LMFAO! » Posted By javaz On March 30, 2011 @ 8:34 pm When Teapublicants say that they want their country back, they really do mean back into the 18th century! It ain’t gonna happen. » Posted By javaz On March 30, 2011 @ 8:01 pm First off, what stations do you watch? Is it cable or satellite? I’m uncertain whether this youtube is right-leaning or left, or if it is for real? Does China own us? That’s a very complicated topic, but all I can say about it is that I refuse to be ruled by fear. And fear is what’s fueling the Teapublicants and the Democrats/liberals/progressives, as every side, from Libertarians to Republicans to Democrats, we’re all being divided by fear. I’m tired of it. Do you ever think that Americans will wake up and recognize that the corporate powers are fueling the fear, and dividing us and making us absolutely hate each other? We’re so divided and filled with hate now that teachers, firemen, and policemen are now thought of as the enemy. Do you think that Americans will ever wake up and realize that we have more in common than not, and the powers that be do not want us to UNITE, because united we stand but divided we fall? What’s going on in Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana is Americans saying ENOUGH, and we’re not going to take it anymore. And we will succeed and it will reverberate throughout our country, because we – the middle class – we’ve had ENOUGH. » Posted By javaz On March 30, 2011 @ 7:33 pm Well, of course, B’ito! (that was snark, btw) And us women in Arizona, we get abortions because of the race or gender of our fetus! (that is also snark) What a strange world and such interesting times we live in, eh? Has it always been this way or has the Internet made the difference? » Posted By javaz On March 30, 2011 @ 7:12 pm Hello to all, and all to one! Don’t ask me what that means, but hey, I said it anyway. Goldarnit, isn’t the news depressing? It’s why I am taking a break. I remember when we lived in France and traveled extensively around Europe, and how they aren’t as stressful as we are here. Although, the French love to protest, yet they have a damn good time doing it. We get so depressed when it comes to politics, but we’ve got to get up and go outside and see the beauty of where we live. We’ve got to go European, and that means that we have to enjoy good food and good wine, and we have to enjoy outside when we can. We have to give to beggars in the streets and the subways. We, as Americans, must relax and sit back and enjoy the simple things, because we cannot change what is out of our control. So, go out and buy preparations for a good dinner, and buy wine, and sit outside – it is spring – non? The Teapublicants won’t be forever, because nothing lasts forever. Live it up. » Posted By javaz On March 25, 2011 @ 6:54 pm Republican Jesus is a fighter, and against the poor. Republican Jesus is not the Jesus we grew up with. Republican Jesus is white and carrying a gun, and Republican Jesus hates the poor and women, and hates the gays, and hates anyone who is not white and rich. You know, I actually read the bible, from start to finish, although I did skip all the begotten portions, as that was very boring. But I read the bible, and what a book that is – I wouldn’t recommend it except to say that it might be the oldest book ever written. You know, there is nothing in the old testament or new about abortion, but there is crap about gays. The Jesus in the bible is a loving and tolerant person, and in fact, Jesus had a thing for a prostitute – Mary Magdalene. I hate this new Christianity, and if those people read the bible, they’d be worried about going to hell. I am a Christian and am proud of it, but the Republicans and Tea Party People are NOT Christian, and if they read their bible, they are so going to hell for their beliefs. I try really hard not to hate people, but I have hard time not hating the faux Christians, because they give those of us who believe a bad name. » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 7:01 pm YIKES I guess that I am unreasonable. Yes I am, when it comes to people who quote Glenn Beck or Rush, or O’Reilly, or Hannity or Sarah Palin, or Huckabee et all. Yup, I am unreasonable. There is no talking to me. » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 5:36 pm I’ve got to ask you and Pepe again – Have you ever been to Montreal? We were, for 4 months, and we lived in a very old C-Class motorhome – google it – and we both speak French – and we lived in Paris, France for 2 years – but the French in Montreal are the absolute worst ever, and even the Parisians hate the people of Montreal. While we were in that part of Canada, we met lots of very friendly Canadians that hated Montreal, too. And, my family name is big in that region. Never judge a person by appearances. I have ZERO desire to ever go back to Canada again, even though I do have dual citizenship. » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 5:22 pm OH! After all, it is always about me! LMAO » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 5:05 pm Really? I’d be interested in knowing when he was a nice guy, because from the “news” from left-wing sites, he seems like a real Tea Partier. » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 4:53 pm Amen. » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 4:30 pm Tea Party people hate unions, hate anyone that isn’t white and rich, and they hate the middle class and poor. Tea Party people are anti-women, anti-gay, anti- anyone who is not white and rich. Your Kasich is a Tea Party Republican. » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 4:29 pm Welcome to Arizona, Boomer! Welcome to Tea Party CRAZY! Yeah, the Crazy hurts. » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 3:55 pm Thanks! Are you still doing all the gardening? » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 3:53 pm Thanks! I’m like a kid with a new toy! This is spectacular! Maybe next, we’ll actually get a real cellphone and flat screen TV! » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 2:58 pm LMAO! I love it! Being able to finally watch these things and this one is so very true! » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 2:55 pm He looks very well cared for with his shiny coat. Do you let your dog sleep with you? Back when we had the 4 cats and a dog, we had all of them in bed with us. And our current little dog sleeps with us and wakes me every morning with licks to my nose. » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 2:22 pm I feel sort of guilty with all the horrible going on, but YAE! My husband is on the laptop and able to watch a spring training game while I’m watching YOUTUBES! Maybe now, I can get back into blogging, as I’ve really missed it and missed everyone at the Planet. But first! » Posted By javaz On March 16, 2011 @ 2:19 pm Is Kalima all right? I’ve been trying to log on, and that’s a long story – but is Kalima all right? We’re so trying to get Hi-Speed Internet, and had Mediacom come out and the guy said that he couldn’t connect us, so he set up a time for a bucket-truck. The bucket-truck is due tomorrow, and then yesterday, we had Mediacom call us and tell us that they were charging us 55 dollars for canceling the order. We did NOT cancel the order, and besides, we never signed a contract, and needless to say, we are so trying to get Hi-speed, and so trying just to stay connected with dial-up. Is Kalima okay? » Posted By javaz On March 14, 2011 @ 3:29 pm Kalima! » Posted By javaz On March 10, 2011 @ 6:30 pm Khirad! » Posted By javaz On March 10, 2011 @ 6:17 pm B’ito – long time no see and I so miss you! We’re trying to get High-Speed Internet and it’s not easy. I won’t bore you with the details, but jeepers, one would think that we live on the edge of earth – Merde. » Posted By javaz On March 10, 2011 @ 6:15 pm Cher, Doesn’t this shit freak you out? We were too young to remember McCarthy hearings, but man, we are going to live it now. Did you ever think that electing a black man to the White House would result in racist assholes crawling out from their dark holes? I never imagined it and I really thought that that shit wasn’t as bad, but boy, was I wrong. We’re battling for the fight of our lives. signed by a former and proud UAW member. » Posted By javaz On March 10, 2011 @ 6:07 pm Wow. I’ve missed you! I still use my coffee mug from Glacier. » Posted By javaz On March 10, 2011 @ 5:57 pm Hey BDM! I lurked for a bit, and I want to convey my condolences to you for losing one of your dogs. Our pets are very much our children. It makes me think twice about replacing a pet, but I’ve done it, and will do it again, except when it comes to cats and we’ve had 4. My cats practically killed me, as I developed asthma and sent me to triage more times than I care to count, but they were my kids and I suffered through it and am okay. Had my first dog that we rescued from the pound, and that dog meant more to me than my cats, and we had to put him down, and that hurt me but we had to do it. Then we went out after 2 weeks and got the dog that we have now, and he was a 4 and 1/2 pound of terror, and I resented him because he would never take my first dog’s place. I love my dog, and he’s 8 years old now, and geesh, why do we put ourselves through this? I guess it’s because they give us so much love and brighten our lives. » Posted By javaz On March 10, 2011 @ 5:54 pm I just can’t quit you – I did not know until the White Supremacist that was arrested in Spokane that the lead singer from Judas Priest came out of the closet and is gay! It does sort of explain the leather and tats, and the ‘Breakin the Law’. For anyone in Arizona – have we not surpassed the Crazy line? Tea Party license plates, the Colt named as the state’s gun, Brewer’s private army while 1 in 5 Arizonans are facing the loss of Medicaid or AHCCS. And to make it even better, rumors galore about Mama Grizzly moving in – and the speculation is that Sister Sarah is moving here to run for Kyl’s seat, OR to run for Flake’s seat, or my favorite – that Sister Sarah is moving to AZ to run for Governor! She was so successful as Governor of Alaska, so why not let her have a shot at replacing Brewer. Brewer did vacation in Alaska for 4 days, and really, who wouldn’t want to vacation in Alaska in March. And then we have Buntgaard, the head of the Senate Majority, who slapped his girlfriend around on the side of the freeway, and she slapped him back, but he claimed immunity, so they let him off – and he has a history of domestic abuse- but they arrested his 100 pound, petite girlfriend and had her spend 72 hours in jail. And now Scott’s saying that his girlfriend had a gun and held it to his head, even though there is no mention of a gun in the original police report. Welcome to RED State America – where the Crazy gets you elected, unless you open fire on a Democrat at the local Safeway store, and then you are labeled a Commie Liberal. » Posted By javaz On March 10, 2011 @ 5:24 pm LOL Sara Who? She’s a Reality TV personality, and I hold Snooki’s opinion higher! » Posted By javaz On February 19, 2011 @ 4:18 pm I am so angry about this, because it’s reminiscent of the 50’s and 60’s, and when cops turned a blind eye to violence, because the violence happened against black people. The guy in that article is a trained professional, yet he refused to answer the call, due to politics, and went home sick. He says that he voted for Gabby, but yeah right, like I believe him. I am so angered by this, and on so many levels. Is this what our country is reduced to? » Posted By javaz On February 19, 2011 @ 4:15 pm Has anyone else seen this article about the Gabby Gifford’s assassination attempt? I signed off from blogging, but want to come back to post something about it and with all the changes on this site, I cannot figure out how to do it. » Posted By javaz On February 19, 2011 @ 4:01 pm My family and friends, and my husband and my brothers love when I do Kaorke – I sing much better than I play guitar. And I’m getting older, so my voice is not what it once was, but I still do pretty darn good. » Posted By javaz On January 28, 2011 @ 6:01 pmComments Posted By javaz
Or even before – am not really good at history – but they’d love to make it so that blacks and Hispanics become slaves, and lynching is legal, and women can’t vote, and children work in factories for pennies.
And hate.
There’s a street in Montreal named after my family name.
My family name in Montreal is respected, because that name is very philanthropic.
I mean, there is a street that has my last name, and schools, and when we were there, we met people that asked me if I were related, and I am not, but yet I was treated like shit, worse than the worse, and it taught me a lesson.
Whenever I hear or read about being unreasonable, I always think that you are talking to me!
We are on Hi-speed Internet!
Welcome to the 21st century for us!
I cannot get over how fast logging into the Internet is and I can watch YOUTUBES!
I have to go back to all the Friday music threads and watch all the youtubes and this is going to take awhile but whoa, I am so loving this thing.
Oh my God, how much do I love you?
I love you!
Do you still have all your cats that you feed?
And your birds?
I’ve missed you so much, and I do truly love you.
You gave me advice when I asked, and I followed your advice, and it made me a better person.
You inspire me to be more.
Out of all the people that I’ve met here, except for B’ito, you make me strive to be a better person.
B’ito drives me to live life every single day, but you, Kalima, you teach me to love.
Another that I’ve missed!
I so miss you.
We will never do cats again.
