That kind of heroism has apparently become passe when it comes to awarding the Medal of Honor. We now award it only for preventing casualties, not for inflicting them. Hopefully it will rain on Wednesday, and maybe Thursday, when our temps will drop to the high-40’s with freeze warnings at night. This is exactly why so many of us live here – the winter – but ask me again about AZ in July and August. My worry here, is that we have been in a drought for the last 14 years, maybe more or maybe less depending on the site – and Lake Mead levels are the lowest that they’ve been in decades. More worrisome, is that a report recently released said that we might not be in the normal 20 year drought cycle, but that clues from fossils and whatever lead to us possibly going into a 60 year drought. And from the research, that 60 year drought happened in the 12th century. I met a HP poster who lives in my area! It was right before the November election and we met up in the late evening and the person was on a rant about the Republicans and it was hilarious when they then realized where they were and who they might possibly be talking to – meaning a Republican because Democrats in our little edge of the world are scarce. We assured the person that we are indeed Democrats and somehow we got to talking about blogging and they said that they blog on HP and have almost 400 friends. I asked the person’s HP name, and sure enough, it is a person that I had as a friend from my HP days. The person did not recognize my HP name, and I’ve since deleted my profile over there, so not sure they would still have it on their friend’s list. We get some awesome storms, and lately, tornadoes, but those changes in weather are rare.
It is a nice to place to visit, but you would not want to live there.
The MSM doesn’t follow it, but the New Times does, as do several blogs from Arizona.
We’ve seen this person out and about for a few years now, and there have been times that we’ve met up while walking the dog.
He stalked and threatened his first wife once the divorce was final, and his second wife filed a few complaints of abuse against Russell, which she denies now, even though there are police records.
I cannot understand what would drive a person to hurt an innocent baby.
There are far too many stories of abuse and neglect.
It’s heartbreaking.
In fact, a Mormon Temple is in Mesa near the downtown area.
It’s a beautiful temple that really puts on quite the display for Christmas.
The hospital notified the police about potential child abuse and the Mesa PD opened an investigation into Joshua Pearce and his wife.
No charges are forthcoming.
He is a younger spitting image of his daddy Russell, and notice the tattoo on his neck.
The apple has not fallen far from the tree.
Pearce should never have been elected, because his hands are dirty.
I am not sure if this JT Ready is the White Supremacist associated with Russell Pearce and Sheriff Joe.

Walked last Thursday morning with one of our evangelical neighbors and this guy has been on a mission to save our souls.
He gave my husband some pamphlet a couple months ago and then he tried pushing an Intelligent Design DVD onto us.
He asked my husband to read an article that he found in a magazine and asked if my hubby would go online and research the accuracy.
I asked the name of the magazine and it is ‘The Good Word’, or something like that.
My husband told the guy how to research the article himself using snopes.
He also told him that he has no interest in the article.
This neighbor listens to some religious station all day at work and when he’s driving and when he’s home, he watches religious programs, and when he reads, he reads religious publications.
He’s so thoroughly brainwashed and so confident that the world is ending soon and yet he’s also very righteous because he knows that he’s been saved and he’s going to heaven.
He likes to warn us about being saved so that we will not suffer eternal damnation.
He sounds like the type of person that your aunt would love!
Spent the day with the in-laws and along with excellent and plentiful food, there was lots of laughter and general good cheer.
A little miracle since there were at least 30 people in attendance!
The best present in the world for me is not having to prepare the meal and more, not having to cleanup!
