I guess hearing this extremely technical, superb, and daring strike on bin Laden becomes a microcosm for the divisiveness that faces us. Was this a good thing? A bad thing? A Bush initiated (oh God) thing. A water boarding thing (Oh God). So we see the news frantically trying to divided the pacifists to the neocons. It isn’t any of the above and it’s all of the above. But there is a context. There is always a context that informed people use to evaluate. Idealism, I guess, in it’s nature is absent context or the context is metaphysical/spiritual.
