Every country seems to have unwavering pride and we do look good compared to the Middle East for instance. Most countries have long histories of hatred against some other country or race but what is almost comically stupid is that the RWNJ hates our government! They prefer states’ rights over country. They hate their fellow countrymen. One would think they’d have issues with England: it is they whom we fought to become a free country. But as I write, I realize, again, the enemy came to light after the Civil War; it is the loser who holds the anger. Corporations are a muddle of problems and opportunities; for any good thing I could say, they do a few more reprehensible things. But we need them. We don’t need them being people with free speech.
