And the president has NOTHING to do with their oppression – it comes from other white guys, the corporate CEOs. To believe differently is to fall for the Southern Planter strategy – they will make you feel superior for simply BEING white while exploiting the hell out of you and pitting you against your true equals, the Black guy with little education and no job. You will still be landless, a sharecropper, in massive debt – but wow. You will be white! It got poor white men nothing in the 1870s. It will get them nowhere today. Falling for racial animus instead of class cohesion is the dumbest thing one can do. White people ARE oppressed – by other white people. We all are. By those same white people. But turning that into fear of Black people? Truly stupid because it diverts your attention from the real oppressors – those same white “planter class” CEOs who thrive while we bash one another.
