When the allegations came down that Obama was meeting with health industry lobbyists, the log showed he ALSO met frequently with health user’s lobby groups. Same with almost every issue. Congress people need to show they have heard their constituents, non-profit advocacy groups, and to show how often they’ve met and how much time spent with corporate vs. human advocacy groups. A log of time in, time out, who you are, and what organization you represent is used in some offices in Sacramento – not a lot but some. I like signing in.
