WATCH LIVE: Mubarak Resigns! Egyptians Celebrate!

Probably talking about Obama.

Hello there.

» Posted By blindhammer On February 11, 2011 @ 11:03 am

If it’s not the “Bush Doctrine” from Republicans it’s the “Obama Cairo Speech” from Democrats.

This revolution started because of economics. If the people in Egypt could afford food and the rich/poor gap was not so wide, they would not have revolted.

From January 18:

“The four self-immolations in Egypt came at a time of tensions over the economic hardships endured by many Egyptians. Many see the ambitious economic reforms introduced by the government over the past decade to be only benefiting a small clique of rich businessmen linked to the Mubarak regime.”

Sorry to cite HP

Developing countries are getting hammered by inflation and sky-rocketing food prices. This is what started it.

Thank you.

I’ll probably lurk around before posting a bit. Just a bit tired after Digg and HP’s demise.

The following comment of mine disappeared into the void on HP:

“The continent of Antarctica was once a lush land filled with plants and animals.”

That’s it. And it’s fact:

“In 1986, Peter Webb and a team of paleontologists at Ohio State University discovered the remains of an extensive temperate forest that flourished 400 miles from the South Pole 3 million years ago.”

That’s not even counting the Cambrian era when Antarctica had a mild climate when it was part of Gondwana.

I can’t even post a simple fact. Whatever.

Please. Stop picking on corporations. Corporations are people too. No really. Corporations are people, too.

I have a satirical approach and this seemed like the best way to say hello to other HP folks 🙂
