Someone was caught stealing someones car radio and when the owner caught him, he chased the thief for two blocks with a pistol. When he finally caught him he shot and killed him and took the thiefs bag of radios, which included his radio, walked home, sold two of the radios to friends and proceeded to resume his nap. When the police came he pleaded SYG. When it went to court, the judge agreed with the shooter ❗ Go figure!?! Another case was of a gang member killing a rival gang member and got off on SYG. I have retire right now but I’m sure one can do a search about the cases of SYG in Florida and the usage of it. So can one pursue someone and kill them under SYG? In his statement he said his head had been slammed on the concrete and even without visible signs of injury they would have done it suspecting internal injury. They would have done this SOP along with other procedures (BP< heart rate checking for open wounds, eye response... before wiping off any blood. If they suspect the injuries are severe enough they would have had him on a gurney, gotten in touch with the ER, transmitted the vitals while loading him into an ambulance. If the seriousness of the injuries don't are minimal and his vitals and EKG check out, he would have been given the option of going to the hospital or not. Seems he chose not too. Evidently he was lucid enough to choose and say no.
If anyone here has ever had a head injury with an open wound, you know that they bleed profusely, even small ones, because the skull has a very good blood supply and very little muscle/fat protection for them. If he was in pain, what was his pulse? 66 or 166, same with the amount of adrenaline he pumped out. if it a lot, and listening to his and his family's story it should have been his heart rate would have been zooming. I want to see the EMT's report
