My Afghan Hounds did that chin on the table thing. They were good about going to “their room” when eating, but don’t leave the butter on the table!!!

When I had Afghan Hounds I used to go and watch this group that “coursed” many types of sight hounds. They were all pets, no money prizes (ribbons), just fun watching these beautiful hounds run.

E’Cat, the editorial on the war and Obama’s decision to send more troops they neglect to say that he campaigned on that action. Short term memory loss?
On the clunkers ed. Why so negative? What were the expecting the program to do? Solve everything around the globe? It did what it did, and it helped.

Obama2008, that carp thing is really something. Besides being able to jump large distances (stories of people getting injured, sitting in their boats) those fish get huge. Saw a pic of one and it was over 6 feet and weighed 195 lbs.
Does the Detroit Free Press still publish a hard edition? They had some interesting Op-Eds.

Nel, watching a program on PBS and they mention that “The Zeypher” in 1933 set a record going from Denver to Chicago reaching speed of 112mph. And now in 2009 we are talking about high speed rail. Would you settle for 112 mph to S.F.?

Kalima, on a positive note, there has never been as many people from the Dept. of State in the country as there are now. Dept of Defense Gates in the hearing the other day said we need more of them there right now. I have never seen the military asking for more money and people for the State Dept.
