The food stamp allotment hasn’t been raised for many years, food costs have risen and now they are going to cut them to help the AG corporations? Does that make sense in the middle of a recession? They seem to treat recipients of food stamps are a permanent set of people, they aren’t, most people receiving food stamps do it for a limited time, like when they lose a job, have to take a minimum wage job or become disabled.
Of course we can always hope the do get “goofier” and more people like Posner realize that they have gone off the edge.
