Beyond this story, what bothers me the most are the questions surrounding his holdings and investments off shore. Were they being used to launder money from Central American dictators, para-military groups, drug king pins, arsenic spewing gold mines, child pornography…… Foolish and unfounded accusations you say? Without any disclosure, cannot anyone assume anything? If Mitt wants to disprove it, it’s quite simple, release the tax returns and financial statements.
