Republican challenger Martha McSally and Democratic incumbent Ron Barber are neck in neck in results so far. Barber was ahead by about 700 votes in results posted Tuesday by the Arizona Secretary of State, though thousands more ballots remained to be tabulated in Cochise and Pima counties. Barber is a former aide to former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, a fellow Democrat who resigned earlier this year because of the wound she suffered in a January 2011 mass shooting in Tucson. Giffords picked Barber as her successor, and he won a June special election to finish the rest of the current term. But that lead has been cut down to 4 percent as Arizona continues to tally the several hundred thousand ballots still left to be counted. “We are closely monitoring the remaining ballots and will take any necessary steps to make sure every vote gets counted,” Abigail Duarte, a spokesperson for the Carmona campaign, told VOXXI. As of Tuesday afternoon, the Secretary of State’s office announced that an estimated 324,362 early and provisional ballots statewide still had to be processed and counted in Arizona. That’s down from the initial 631,274 uncounted ballots. In Maricopa County, where a majority of uncounted ballots come from, there were 93,000 early ballots that hadn’t been counted and 122,000 provisional ballots that had yet to be verified. Well, I would say that that puts us, the supporter at a real advantage, since it doesn’t take full effect until ’14 we need to talk about the positives and put them in the negative. We do need to make them look like robbers thieves and have a list of those that follow the ACA and the ones that don’t can go on a Top Ten wanted list for theft, mug shots and all!
Actually it looks like the rest of the party may have found a job for them if they don’t keep their mouths shut.
