Time Out for O/T – Vol. 15

Currently I’m browsing gawker for some articles about SheWhoMustNotBeNamed – and interestingly I stumbled across this:

Fishbowl LA got hold of a screengrab from an internal HuffPo message board for moderators. HIGH PRIORITY ALERT:

Full size

“Please make sure not to allow any comments about the airline incident involving AH this past weekend. It is off-topic on any article.”

So here’s the ultimate OFF-TOPIC! Could have been a command from Sarah Palin, had she been involved in that incident…..

Of course we all know Whorianna’s restrictions that she imposes on commenters by own, sad experience. Still I found it very telling as to what extend her dictatorship went.

It has to go viral. And also the tiny details that gawker.com revealed about Ms H over time, like her major role in a very shady sect and all that.

I still can’t believe that I can talk freely here! What a relief!

My hope is, that they are going to raise a big stink about that. They already opened a facebook page for that matter, but that’s not enough.

Everything Arianna must be off topic – so I guess I’m in the right place here…

Funny thing is, I found this not on the main, but buried somewhere deep down in the media section on Huff. (As we all know, earlier she used to put everything with her mug on it on a central space on the main – LOL!)

In any case: here she says what we felt for the past two years. Now it simply gets confirmed in her own words:

In an exclusive video interview with TheWrap 36 hours after the media world was shaken by the news that AOL would acquire The Huffington Post for $315 million, Huffington said “absolutely no” to the question of whether AOL content would have a leftist political bent. (See video I, interview continues in second video.)

“Of course not,” she said. “AOL is not a political site. AOL has Politics Daily, a section which covers politics, but it’s not a political site. I was always clear that HuffPo would not just be a political site. I always wanted it to be an Internet newspaper, covering every aspect of life. “

—-So much for her image of being “mother of the progressive sites” and just in case anyone still has doubts that her real name is Whorianna…….not sure though if DNA tests confirmed yet that she’s indeed Palin’s long lost twin sister…

Help Desk

AdLib, if you could provide several vialinks already now (before HP blocks the current one) it would be excellent. In this way they’ll take much longer to figure them out. I’m forcing myself to go to Huff just in order to invite some valued friends over. I truly try to make other comments in between too to conceal that I’m merely posting the links. But there are not many articles over there that appeal to me and those that do are – guess what? – heavily moderated (which naturally puts me off too.) So I do have a hard time to pretend I’m just placing my regular posts, and therefore it’s quite obvious that I mostly post the vialink or planet_pov. If many different links would show up in my comments history it would conceal this a bit more.
And as I’ve said before, I don’t want to check in at HP with another account. It’s easier to invite people when they know you, and it’s easier for me to find my friends (I can just click in the friends section to find them).

Something else: did you ever get my Thank you notes to you? You are really doing a heck of a job, as well as all the other administrators. Thanks a lot for Planet POV.

***EDIT***: I just noticed that you put up two more vialinks to post on Huff on “From Everything Over There Belongs To Here”. Great and thanks.
