Since AH had build a large blogger community I tried many times to remind her of her responsibility to unite people and build some grassroots movements. Guess what, the comments were always deleted, and I think I even got a stalker mod on my neck for a couple of weeks. And as we know, the media rejoiced in promoting the Koch-teaparty- astroturf- āmovementā who had copied ā yes! copied! ā Obamaās grassroots movement! The left was paralyzed and watched in disbelief.
Now if left and right would find common ground here, the Corporations would finally get the blow they need to receive.
However, America has one big, very big, disadvantage, and that is the absence of proper media laws. This is one of the major problems in your country, if not the severest. England on the other hand reigned Murdoch in in a jiffy, at least in this case!
The article you introduced here is excellent material and Hari even posted a 10 step manual. Both should at least end up somewhere in the action section here, also for further reference.

In any case, thanks a lot for your interest. We are still figuring out the direction the whole enterprise should take. I think deygirl was a bit more focused on how we came here, and I don’t want to bury the HP corpse without a thorough autopsy and having brought the culprits to justice – or at least, highlighted their deeds in no uncertain terms!
So I’m going to send deygirl my suggestions as to how to proceed and will then, after her approval or after making adjustments publish part 2 of the Invite, that is, if the administrators too agree to what I am going to suggest.
We will also publish the email in part 2, probably then the one that I set up, for it makes sense that one person coordinates the stuff. The mail she gave could serve as one where several persons have access so that we could use it as a kind of an information board, collect and share links, information, ideas and so on. However, I have to clarify if this was her intention too. Otherwise I may set up such an email myself.
I can only say I’m glad that it’s most of the time peaceful here. The scenes from yesterday remind me of what I DON’T miss from the other place. It doesn’t mean there should be no disagreement. I am all for ruffling feathers once in a while. But blindly accusing others in one-liners without giving reasons why and not listening to the other parties replies is not what I’m talking about.
So shall I finish this and publish it directly, or would you like to see it before? If I would only burden you with that, I simply go ahead and do as PW suggested below. I’m sorry, I see it’s 8 am … where I am it’s 9.45 pm…
