Displaying 1,171 To 1,200 Of 1,432 Comments Another excellent work, Buddy, fantastic. You are a great artist and even I, who had a very strong feeling that you were, am speechless about the magnitude of your talent. So I hope I’ll get to see more of your works. » Posted By Truth On February 27, 2011 @ 4:38 am Something really off topic: I finally got rid of the google banner that haunted me since coming to The Planet. The page also never opened at the Home page and I couldn’t use backspace, because the only link mentioned in the browsing history was always the same google link. Now I finally made another attempt and opened Planet POV with a new tab from my Zuula search – and yippie! No more google torture and the page opens at the Home page. Had I known earlier that I don’t need to suffer with that google thing….. » Posted By Truth On February 27, 2011 @ 4:07 am Yes, Buddy, some of your paintings reminded me of Monet because of the light effects. This picture from Monet was not the best sample, the mood is too dampened, but still it expressed partially what I meant. Your unfinished work “Light in the Woods” reminded me also of the ambiance in some of Monet’s pictures. Since I was curious about your paintings I ventured out to see the flickr page you mentioned. And wow, they are really excellent. I could tell that you’re a great artist only by the 3 drawings I had seen earlier. But your potential goes far beyond that – I remain impressed. My favorites are the landscapes, the pencil drawings, (especially the one of your painter colleague) and also the still lifes, as well as the pictures you copied from photographs. I find those are all really perfect. » Posted By Truth On February 27, 2011 @ 3:56 am Pundit, is this computer art? I like these kind of mandala-like pictures too. And did you see I applauded your idea at the Help Desk. » Posted By Truth On February 27, 2011 @ 1:13 am π » Posted By Truth On February 27, 2011 @ 1:04 am There are so many artists on The Planet and it crossed my mind more than once if it would be an idea to expand the art section so we could see the talent that is hidden here? The MSIA thing is an issue that is not yet well known. The meaning of MSIA is Movement For Spiritual Inner Awareness, which doesn’t sound bad at first. Yet it is a cult. On gawker.com there is an article about AH and this cult. And I’m going to write a lot about this in the series “Secrets From Beyond the Emerald Curtain”. I published an article on this under “Invite For Collaboration Part 3” about an hour ago, and after the administrators had time to review it, it will be here on PPOV. (All went for the rallies today, so it may take some more time) » Posted By Truth On February 26, 2011 @ 11:38 am It’s going to be interesting to look at the undercurrent of Huff Post. Emerald series….coming soon to your computer…. » Posted By Truth On February 26, 2011 @ 3:18 am You will soon come to know how much truth is to that statement, Abby. The MSIA cult is really sickening and I found out it is the only thing that remained constant in AH’s life. The only one! » Posted By Truth On February 26, 2011 @ 2:42 am I feel relieved. I just closed both my accounts at Huffington Post. After having read about AH’s cult so much and realizing she is still very active there etc. I REALLY couldn’t let this much of me at this site. Now I’m free! » Posted By Truth On February 26, 2011 @ 2:09 am Nice flower. Since they are having those I need to try to post one too… ***Edit: it worked! I only wished their stuff wouldn’t flash all the time. Too nervous… » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 9:55 pm π ..”.great article Arianna”……. π – Did she ever write one on her own anyway? I doubt it. I thought she was too busy self-promoting…. » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 9:19 pm ***Edit: Oops, something went wrong…. » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 7:10 pm π ! FOK NEWS!!! Great! » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 7:05 pm Lovely! Btw I wrote an answer to you on the “Invite For C.. Part 2” thread, but I’m not sure if you saw it » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 11:24 am Oh good, PW. I wasn’t sure when we discussed back then if you wanted to do it or not. Good to know! AdLib posted some more info above – I’m sure a Zuula search (where I can still use google but less bothersome) could bring up quite a bit of stuff. And maybe AdLib has even more sources. As for AOL being there at Huff from the beginning: yes: “The sale of the Huffington Post is a homecoming of sorts for one of the site’s co-founders. http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118031666?refCatId=1009 http://www.observer.com/2011/tech/mudslinger-maverick-transformation-kenneth-lerer » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 11:20 am Too bad, really. And then considering the MSIA cult crap on top of this ugly mixture…. not pretty. If you have any more links/infos on AOL ready, please send them to me for the Emerald series (see reply to PW above). » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 11:02 am In fact we all do, Buddy…. There are tons more of Mark Fiore clips, and I find him very funny at times. Although these clips are all too true… » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 10:34 am e’cat, the media laws in the US are lacking quite a bit and real journalists are near-extinct. But this is going to be another series, so I won’t think about that now… » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 10:30 am HH, I liked that too! π » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 10:27 am AdLIb, I am speechless! They are even worse than google… The information comes in handy for the planned Emerald series though. On the other hand I thought it was already bad enough with AOL. Pheeeew! » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 10:22 am Same here e’cat. And Representative Broun, who didn’t correct the culprit should get the adjacent cell. » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 10:16 am Thank you, PW. Nasty stuff this. And since you’re at the subject “AOL” I also wanted to ask if you would like to write the AOL episode for the Emerald series. It is no problem if you don’t wish to, but I publish tomorrow (so AdLib will) Part 3 of the “Invite For Collaboration” and need to know what is covered and where there are vacancies. Here’s the broad outline for episode No. 11: AOL: a) short information about their business philosophy, their political affiliation and their business practices b) First hand experiences of former members ? And sure, something like the incident you describe above would be interesting too. Please reply at 2emeraldcurtain@gmail.com – Thanks » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 10:13 am Ferra Knows, Rasputin’s Liver wrote on the thread of the Morning Blog about it, I read it there just now. I can’t believe somebody can say something like that. ***Edit: While I was typing Buddy McCue just posted another link » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 8:03 am Here’s another http://www.MarkFiore.com: Take a closer look at Arianna Huffington’s deal with AOL and the new merger:
» Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 4:54 am Redemption, I know, but maybe they really need to suffer physically before comprehending, what to do! » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 3:25 am Pundit, yes, that was the Boehner one. The other ones are on Mark’s site. » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 1:18 am In a way a good thing, since Dems were not present to vote. Let the Republicans show their true colors, so voters may finally understand who stands for what. » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 12:49 am Too bad Khirad….Now I won’t get another Ganesh Bhajan from you? I like Mark Fiore’s videos. Well then, those who want to see it can just go with the link above. » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 12:44 am Welcome to The Planet, Le Facteur. Yes, it is true that some have been banned. Check out the article of zootliberal (News/Politics; Media; Huffington Post in the bar on top). There are also lots of other articles about Huff. Some of us have their accounts still there, using them according to their own preferences. But I guess many of us simply enjoy to be able to talk freely. One can also become very creative here and initiate own projects (within the guidelines of PPOV, of course). » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 12:27 amComments Posted By Truth
And this is my homage to Buddy:
Now sure enough nothing against adhering to spirituality. Only too bad she doesn’t seem to recognize that this cult is not the real thing.
Kenneth Lerer was once a top communications executive at AOL in the late 1990s and went on to be an exec veep at AOL Time Warner after the merger. Naturally, Lerer is banking on the union of Huffington Post and AOL to be a better fit than the famously disastrous AOL-TW marriage.”
