Take care and be safe, and please continue to give some life signs in between so we know how you are. » Posted By Truth On March 12, 2011 @ 1:08 am Hi Buddy, I left you a message at the Invitation For C…Part 3 thread, not sure if you saw it. It may be easier to contact me by email, since I’m not so often here right now, and I couldn’t access the Planet for several hours earlier. » Posted By Truth On March 7, 2011 @ 10:27 am Rasputin, this is just so unbelievable. How can somebody talk like this – and Rep. Broun did nothing to correct him. Both should be taken to task for that. » Posted By Truth On February 25, 2011 @ 8:08 am Yay AdLib, you’re the best! » Posted By Truth On February 15, 2011 @ 8:52 am President Obama is holding a press conference. Live on C span NOW. » Posted By Truth On February 15, 2011 @ 8:46 am Sure, it was only my opinion. It is your talent and if it helps you to draw them, why not? I never understood it the way that you would celebrate them. Anyway yet another thought: I assume that it may help to draw them since while working on the drawings you may re- center yourself automatically. This is surely the case with me when I’m doing some (creative) work. And this will also be the part where the amicable traits of your models enter the picture as far as I’m concerned. This is just my take, and in any case your pics are truly excellent. » Posted By Truth On February 13, 2011 @ 8:42 am Good comparison on the dark site: Sarah Palin is the honey badger…. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/meredith-bagby/sarah-palin-is-the-honey-_b_871078.html » Posted By Truth On June 4, 2011 @ 11:59 pm Breaking News: The Swiss government – which is called the Swiss Federal Council – just decided on nuclear power phase out! Congratulations! » Posted By Truth On May 25, 2011 @ 6:22 am ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More than excellent and spot on! » Posted By Truth On April 17, 2011 @ 6:43 pm Thank you so much, I’m sure you know many such types…. But still you are my favorite whatsie and one of my favorite artists. » Posted By Truth On April 17, 2011 @ 8:46 am Eewww, how boring, no debate! But I have to leave anyway, so that’s ok. And I haven’t answered your recent question yet: I’m neither Indian nor American, I am a real Swiss Obamabot…. » Posted By Truth On April 17, 2011 @ 6:47 am Teehee, whatsie, well done, you walked right into my trap ๐ ! Now tell me, why do you think that I am an Obamabot for supporting that writers’ opinion? What exactly does make me one in your book? Kindly don’t think of other comments I have made earlier (or those you assume I will make at a later point in time). I want to know why only concerning this specific incident, for this was my question. I’m asking because some 2 years back my stance was seen as that of a strong Obama supporter, and I was very much in vogue. In fact, I would have been spat on had I uttered anything other than support. But today if I make a pro-Obama statement of any kind on any US-blog I’m immediately branded an “Obamabot”. This leaves me utterly undeterred, but still I’d like to understand why. » Posted By Truth On April 17, 2011 @ 6:37 am Am I now an Obamabot if I say that writer is right? » Posted By Truth On April 17, 2011 @ 12:07 am Wow! Last!!! » Posted By Truth On April 16, 2011 @ 10:33 pm Thank you Patsy, how soothing! » Posted By Truth On April 16, 2011 @ 10:01 pm ๐ – especially: Palin Speech = oxymoron! » Posted By Truth On April 16, 2011 @ 9:55 pm Just in: Paul Ryan Budget Proposal Passes House Vote How was that with lunatics running the asylum? Who voted for such nuts??? » Posted By Truth On April 15, 2011 @ 11:33 am WOW!!!!!!!!! EXCELLENT! » Posted By Truth On April 14, 2011 @ 6:48 pm You can click a link at the bottom of the mail to unsubscribe. It’s a bit bothersome, but then you’re free of them. » Posted By Truth On April 14, 2011 @ 3:51 am e’cat, always nice to see that common sense IS alive and kicking. Now if you only had reasonable media laws in your country these numbers would stay the way they are right now! » Posted By Truth On April 14, 2011 @ 3:27 am I often ask myself and others: if Obama and friends are so weak and accommodating to the right, why does the right hate them so much? Why are they pulling out every trick in the book to defeat the Dems? Exactly, this thought used to cross my mind frequently. In all that pundit noise one tends to forget what’s really going on! Moreover, many of these “firebrands” are not even progressives. For example a Jane Hamsher, whom I always despised, makes her priorities clear to me by choosing to collaborate with Grover Norquist. » Posted By Truth On April 13, 2011 @ 10:38 pm Not bad, Mishka! » Posted By Truth On April 12, 2011 @ 7:12 pm Well Khirad – now things become even more complicated…. On the Planet you are my senior, but in reality my junior….. who is going to touch whose feet now? » Posted By Truth On April 9, 2011 @ 9:57 pm KT, this is a good question: “how does one judge? They are all good in their own right.” » Posted By Truth On April 9, 2011 @ 9:52 pm Now that’s an interesting culture or culture mix. I can’t figure out if this comes out of one tradition (and which exactly) or if it’s a combination of several traditions. Bagpipes and Sarees/Salwar Kameez’ seems to be a rare combination! » Posted By Truth On April 9, 2011 @ 9:31 pm Whatsie, I hope you didn’t misunderstand. I live in India, here is “seniors” used as a term of respect. It was meant as a reminder that some of you have been longer at this site than we newbies and had nothing whatsoever to do with the age of anyone. Anyhow I was also thinking that it would be nice to comment on some of the articles in order to give more feedback to the authors, if only briefly. The sheer amount of good articles is a bit overwhelming though (and the Planet was down yesterday, so I went to bed early instead of reading as planned) » Posted By Truth On April 9, 2011 @ 9:11 pm I voted on some, but I want to read what I vote for first. You seniors read most of the articles already earlier. So give us a some time to catch up…… » Posted By Truth On April 9, 2011 @ 8:46 pm Well done, todaysjustus, and welcome to The Planet! Just yesterday I made my first tiny video (on http://www.xtranormal.com), but for some reason I can just preview, but not publish it. Maybe you can assist me here? » Posted By Truth On April 9, 2011 @ 1:19 am e’cat, I didn’t mean to say conservatives are simply primitive and liberals are evolved. What I wanted to point out is that thinking the same or similar thoughts leaves a visible trail in the brain through neuron reactions. » Posted By Truth On April 8, 2011 @ 6:39 pm Indeed WOW. Sounds quite a bit familiar! » Posted By Truth On April 8, 2011 @ 7:03 amComments Posted By Truth
My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
The magnitude of this catastrophe is still not comprehensible.
(Or, maybe it’s ok now with the new reply feature – it may just take a bit more of time to get our respective replies.)
So, and now it’s already late and I have to leave, see you sometime later.
It could be faster, but at least it looks like the last Swiss nuclear power plant is going to be switched off in 2034! Well done!
And people who tell others not to vote, because the progress was to slow, are not interested in advancing progressive policies imo. Much the opposite!
But maybe as whats said, to give some more feedback on the thread would be the most important part.
And I understand your taoistic approach too.
And sure, you’re right: not ALL conservatives are fear driven – yet it is a strong tendency amongst this group. Moreover I assume the “rugged individualist” thing may be a main reason to become conservative in the first place.
