Bought a truck anyway…but a few years later and I got an “environmental” plate with an eagle on it!
There was some sort of state senator or something here awhile back that wanted Michael Jackson’s picture placed on the license plates…that was the year I was going to buy a truck because the plates were plain without pictures!
I really want to leave this state and then I read about the Dakota bill to legalize killing abortion providers and AZ and it’s crazy ass laws and republicans re-defining rape and on and on and on and I realize I may just need to buy an island all to myself…..

I don’t know whats up with HP…wasn’t there as long as some and see some of my favorite posters still hanging in there. Not ready to delete my profile yet. I AM really happy for the relaxed atmosphere and posting freedom I’ve found here though!
Thanks! Where I’m at is very right wing too, but…the Dood abides! Don’t mind the cold but don’t think Cut Bank is for me (too small and no job opportunities for what I do). I’ve only been from SF to Ukiah in CA but love the countryside and the fact the ocean is not too far away also (I love all the different terrain!). Would like to visit Shasta sometime…there’s some job prospects there too. The plus side with MT is it would be easy to keep all my guns!

I saw a job opening in Kalispell…may not even still be open but my friends pictures from the area are very enticing as that’s the kind of country I love so I keep it in my head…other openings may happen, especially in my line of work!
I completely understand! Can you offer an opinion on Kalispell however? It’s just one of many places I think about…I really like northern CA too. I’m just very unhappy where I am currently and I’m perhaps looking for a change. If not…again I completely understand! No worries!

As a “health care professional”, I won’t be happy until we have a single payer system. We can look at other countries that do so and maybe “tweak” it some but one thing that HAS to change is getting the FOR PROFIT insurance companies out of the picture. You’re health is NOT a commodity and should not be treated as such. I see SO many people who shouldn’t be in the health situation they are in but because they can’t afford their meds, therapies, etc. they show up in worse shape than they would be if they could access the care they need! It makes my heart hurt to listen to these people sometimes..it’s just not right!
