His claim that the communist party lead the riots in SF was so incorrect I would think it from some fairytale. The police did not react just when the rioters got to the Mark Hopkins or Fairmont hotels, they reacted from the beginning. I know, I watched it all on television. The main riot was on Market Street, not Union Square. It spread out from there to different parts of the city. The police were outnumbered in LA and not at all prepared for SF to light up. In LA, there were many different people involved in the looting and setting fires. It was eerie driving down the 5 freeway heading for the valley and listening to the verdict. I sent them the info on Hinkley Ca and how PG&E screwed with the affected people. In fact these gals were saying the utility company was being helpful and I was able to let them know only until the statute of limitations was up because that is exactly what PG&E tried to do. So I like to think you can also be very helpful to people there as well. Facebook I go to either play a slot game or find out what family is doing that I might not normally see all the time. Email is for alot of reasons and this site is where I feel I can say what I feel and not be attacked. Ok he must have been referring to that time. You know I don’t even know how Manning feels about his impending trial, perhaps he does know it is the price he has to pay, even though he probably now wishes he had not done the deed. All in all he did not deliver much of significance we already did not know.
Then what did Ellsberg go to jail for? He stated in an interview I saw that he went to jail. Perhaps awaiting trial? The point is he was charged with a crime, just as manning is or will be, depending on the UCMJ. I agree he enlightened us about our government but that is different than outing leaders all over the world.
My sister is a big Oz fan and I was in a TJMaxx one day and found some red shoes that looked just like Dorothy’s shoes. That was an excellent analysis of the situation. My husband was showing interest in Paul for the very reasons you prescribe until I gave him an intricate lesson on what was behind it all. That is the problem, no one looks behind the doors and under the beds, it is all superficial. And it is one of my pet peeves. I will always probe a generalization. I cannot let it go, but I am usually well versed in the subject after research. Too bad most people are not, they are basically lazy. I think it still goes back to the “me” and “instant gratification” complex.

I could not agree with you more. But I say, let the games keep on going. The more this stuff is addressed, the more irrelevant they become.
When I really want to ram their car lol. I admit I did it once to such a car, but the back end was loaded with those stupid stickers. So I passed them up and flipped them off. Never have done it again, I don’t want to be included in their class.
It is a badly worded tweet for sure and I would only expect such crap from Maher. I don’t agree with Tebow and his obvious fawning over his religion but it is up to the NFL to address it. I personally am always suspicious of someone who feels the need to shove his religion in everyone’s face. However if he is truly some phony, he will out himself, all in good time. His downfall would be far worse on it’s own and Maher is not going to force it any sooner by tweets like that.
