The other candidates for the Republican nomination repeatedly pounded the former Massachusetts governor on the issue throughout the night, demanding that he produce a label proving that he was made in the U.S.A. The attacks came amid rumors that Mr. Romney was assembled in a plant overseas, possibly in France, where a microchip was installed enabling him to speak French. “At a time when we are losing an increasing number of manufacturing jobs to other countries, can we really afford to have a President who wasn’t made here?” asked former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Former Senator Rick Santorum joined in the attacks, saying that if it is proven that Mr. Romney was assembled overseas he might be liable for tariffs and customs duties. Texas Governor Rick Perry abstained from the attacks, but only because he seemed unclear as to who Mr. Romney was. The former Massachusetts governor did little to tame the controversy, flailing his arms wildly at one point as smoke billowed from his head. “Attendez!” Mr. Romney barked stiffly, drawing hoots from the debate audience. Perhaps in an attempt to deflect attention away from the controversy, the Romney campaign announced today that the candidate had received the endorsement of the IBM supercomputer known as Watson. » Posted By SueInCa On January 17, 2012 @ 12:41 pm You got it KT, we are also finding out more about him he might not want us to put out there too » Posted By SueInCa On January 16, 2012 @ 3:58 pm I have a lot of friends in the Dallas area – all progressive. Chill or freeze Twinkies for several hours or overnight. 2. Heat 4 cups vegetable oil in deep fryer to about 375 degrees. Batter Directions 1. Mix together milk, vinegar and oil. 2. In another bowl, blend flour, baking powder and salt. 3. Whisk wet ingredients into dry and continue mixing until smooth. 4. Refrigerate while oil heats. 5. Push stick into Twinkie lengthwise, leaving about 2 inches to use as a handle, dust with flour and dip into the batter. 6. Rotate Twinkie until batter covers entire cake. 7. Place carefully in hot oil. The Twinkie will float, so hold it under with a utensil to ensure even browning. 8. It should turn golden in 3 to 4 minutes. 9. Depending on the size of your deep fryer, you might be able to fry only one at a time, two at the most. 10. Remove Twinkie to paper towel and let drain. Remove stick and allow Twinkie to sit for about 5 minutes before serving. Makes 6. Variation: Slice Twinkie into 4 pieces. Flour and batter each before frying. With this treatment, one Twinkie will serve two people if accompanied by a sauce. Berry Sauce Ingredients: • 1 10-ounce jar of seedless raspberry preserves • 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries Directions: 1. In a saucepan, heat preserves over low heat until melted. 2. Add 1 cup of fresh or frozen mixed berries. 3. Heat until sauce just simmers. 4. Cover; refrigerate until served. Makes 1 1/2 cups. » Posted By SueInCa On January 16, 2012 @ 2:49 pm AB » Posted By SueInCa On January 16, 2012 @ 1:25 pm I just busted up laughing. But you know what? CNN reports: An aide said the GOP candidate gave the supporter “what he had on him” — about $50 or $60. The woman, Ruth Williams, met Romney earlier in the week and told him she was having trouble making ends meet. On Saturday, Romney recognized Williams while he was shaking hands with supporters after a rally, an aide said. Romney spoke to the woman and handed her several bills. “He was kind to me,” Williams said. “He held onto me and he made Gov. In the 90’s you could go to TGIFridays and get Angel Shrimp. Grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon man I loved that dish. For me it was like Outback’s coconut shrimp. It is an appetizer at Outback but I order it for dinner with their blue cheese chopped salad. If you have never had a chopped salad, try it, They are delicious
Romney Under Pressure to Prove He Was Manufactured in US
Rivals Demand He Produce Label
I think Dumb Ass is my preference but after reading the article, I have to applaud the people of Amarillo. They reached out to help these people and that is a good thing. I hope the driver is fired.
Try a deep fried Twinkie. Loaded with fat and calories but absolutely melts in your mouth. I made them one time.
Did you see Stephen Colbert and his denials about the SuperPac? It was hilarious and a parody on Mitt Romney’s denials about his SuperPac and their negative ads. Colbert set up the press so he could take another whack and prove how ignorant most of them are.
Rick Tyler also caught this and I am not sure if it will be a new ad or if he thinks he covered it in Mitt Comes to Town. He found the same public records I found. You should have seen that ho andrea Mitchell sputtering trying to discredit Tyler. He was relentless though and made her look like even more of a fool. At one point she could literally not get her mouth to move and talk. It was funny.
I thought it weird too. It was updated on 11/10/11 so I assume it is correct.
It is that old adage, what is good for the goose, the gander better not try LOL
