My Gosh Kalima when the quake hit in March last year it scared the heck out of me(I had earbuds on). I cannot imagine how frightened people were who actually experienced it. » Posted By SueInCa On March 20, 2012 @ 12:10 pm It seems as if “the stakes are too high for you to stay home” has long been a recurring theme. Interesting. And later Romney bit off his own foot with his “brainwashing” about Vietnam. In retrospect he might have been going down the correct path but his pompous and arrogant attitude took him into a rambling speech on how Eisenhower would never have started bombing. All in an attempt to flip flop just like his son » Posted By SueInCa On March 19, 2012 @ 11:48 am BFF he is so very handsome. I will have to check out PBS for an airing. » Posted By SueInCa On March 19, 2012 @ 10:41 am Bito I think in his efforts at megalomania he will do anything to be president. Not to say he does not believe all of this, I think he does. But his form of Catholicism, Opus Dei is not your normal Catholic church that you or I might have attended. I guarantee it is not like Saint Catherine’s in my hometown that I attended although his church in Falls Church has the same name. » Posted By SueInCa On March 18, 2012 @ 1:16 pm http://www.religionnews.com/politics/election/the-religious-right-not-dead-yet Interesting take on Santorum’s candidacy. Never say never » Posted By SueInCa On March 17, 2012 @ 9:41 pm You are welcome BFF. If I may I would recommend that you read A Snowflake in an Avalanche by Mikey Weinstein. You will be shocked at just how insidious the Religious Right is entrenched in the Military and have been for 20 years or more. He concentrates mostly on the air force academy in Co Springs but covers all branches. It is truly scary. Of course Teabaggers claim no he is on hiatus LOL » Posted By SueInCa On March 17, 2012 @ 1:07 pm AB I am guessing you mean along the lines of Waiting to Exhale. You sell the BMW for one dollar and what you don’t sell for a dollar at the yardsale, you burn in a bonfire in your driveway and invite the neighbors over to roast hot dogs, toast marshmallows or go all the way and make s’mores. THEN and only then do you invite the ex over to pick up his stuff. That way you get your driveway cleaned off as well. » Posted By SueInCa On March 17, 2012 @ 8:57 am Watson So do I and I am laughing » Posted By SueInCa On March 16, 2012 @ 6:23 pm AB I agree with you keying all the way. It is never easy to lose a loved one, a friend or even an acquaintence but knowing you have such caring people propping you up in thought means a great deal. So thanks on behalf of my family and of course, myself. » Posted By SueInCa On March 15, 2012 @ 4:10 pm I have been doing some research on education and the religious right and the EdisonLearning group. Jeb Bush, Charlie Crist and Rick Scott as trustees of the Florida Teachers Union Pension Fund has used funds for this group to hand them a bail out and help Liberty Group(LBO type corp) to continue to fund these people even though they have a proven track record of not managing the schools they take over properly. They have been in business for 20 years and are still not making a profit. If I were a FL state school teacher I would be pissed that my pension was being used for this endeavor….. I have also been reading a book called The Baptizing of America by Rabbi James Rudin. He basically tells the same story of the RR case for dominating the country but he gets a bit more in to the nitty gritty of each level of control. So when he got to education I did some research based on EdisonLearning and after clicking a few times, I was eventually led to the above case/information that is discussing a blueprint of exactly what Rabbi Rudin was discussing. It sounds like it is hidden in No Child Left Behind (redux) but I have not done enough research yet. If Jeb Bush is involved you can be sure there is something “not of the law” involved. » Posted By SueInCa On March 11, 2012 @ 7:56 pm Sally you are such a sweetie. Thanks for doing that. You are right I am a bit preoccupied. Hard to concentrate but this too shall pass and smartass Susie will be back. Thanks » Posted By SueInCa On March 7, 2012 @ 8:08 pm Sally my funny radar is not working so well these days. I kind of thought that was what you meant but in case not I had to clear it up. Chalk it up to my Type A personality. » Posted By SueInCa On March 7, 2012 @ 7:36 pm CL There is a novel out there called the Twelfth Imam by Joel Rosenberg. If you have a Kindle I can loan it to you. It is pure fantasy and the same storyline as Rick :batshitcracy: Santorum is spewing. I would bet my life he read the book and took it as gospel because a crazy rightwing christian wrote the story. I read it because I like good fiction but did not believe his storyline because I have read some Islam Theocracy and learned a lot from Khirad. it was just an interesting book. One eerie thing about it, he had a Mossad agent assassinate an Iranian nuclear physicist in the city of QOM. When I heard the story a month or so ago it gave me the chills. Who does Barbara Boxer rely on? I thought she was a Catholic but maybe she is the Santorum type = Charismatic? » Posted By SueInCa On March 7, 2012 @ 7:15 pm No I meant you know the proverbial dog taking a bite out of a man’s behind but really gets his pants. Sometimes I am too lazy to write better I swear…… » Posted By SueInCa On March 7, 2012 @ 7:09 pm KT » Posted By SueInCa On March 7, 2012 @ 5:33 pm Rick Santorum the lay-batshitcrazy-priest has gotten it wrong again. He claimed that Iran is waiting for the Mahdi to re-appear in the city of Qom near a sacred well. Basically Ahmadenijad is claiming this, outright pandering to a small group in Iran. Shi’a do believe in Jesus’ return along with their 12th Imam, Mahdi during a time of chaos to return the world to peace. However it is believed this person could return to Iraq or even Saudi Arabia. When Ahmadenijhd speaks of this he is pandering to a small group of Shi’a. But Pastor Santorum goes with the story without checking Shi’a facts. If Santorum had any brains whatsoever he would stop believing what a book by Joel Rosenberg(of the religious right sect)entailed could be true. I read the book and he went all around the subject but claiming the Mahdi was a violent man and returned to set off the nuclear bombs in Iran’s possession and CREATE chaos. AND The Mahdi could come back to Qom but it is highly unlikely a higher power would deliberately send this Imam back to do harm. » Posted By SueInCa On March 7, 2012 @ 5:09 pm Khirad A lot of people do not like Taibbi for a variety of reasons but I have found his honesty in many settings appropriate even if I did not like what he said. Now I will go read his piece. » Posted By SueInCa On March 2, 2012 @ 11:19 am This comment from Kes on Ohio politicians tells what I think of Breitbart There should be an especially hot corner of the Great Eternal E-Z Bake reserved for that crew, comes the REAL rapture. EVIL! » Posted By SueInCa On March 2, 2012 @ 11:06 am The re-write of history with respect to Breitbart is under way by the MSM. If there was ever a reason to have an epiphany with regard to their honesty, NOW is the time. I wonder what Olberman had to say. I very seldom watch him since he teamed up with Michael Moore trying to take over the OWS movement. » Posted By SueInCa On March 2, 2012 @ 11:04 amComments Posted By SueInCa
Choice Lady has worked with him as has Leah at God’s Own Party. I would love to cover his work as well and maybe when I am done with this series I will. I just get worried that people will get tired of hearing about it all.
Tell him two years ago my friend was diagnosed with this disease and with excellent professional medical care he is still alive and fairly healthy today. He got treatment early and the docs now give him a much more positive prognosis.
